MISHTI'S POINT OF VIEW:-
I always wished to prepare a meal for someone. All my life I have never gotten that chance. Or maybe because I never searched for that chance like how it happened today. As much as I could have gotten for breakfast today from the nearby restaurant for Abir. I decided to cook for him myself and that is unlike me.
Why did I do that? Was it really because I felt the need to repay him? Or is it because I find Abir so sweet that I wanted to do something out of the box for him?
I stormed inside the tailoring unit and checked on the progress before going to my showroom. Then I found Hannah was there attending a customer.
"I'll carry on from here." I said, smiling. She left to the other side of the showroom to arrange the clothes neatly. One lucky thing about holding a posh showroom is you have clients who take appointments and come but at the same time it is also hard when other passing people turn as a customer but you can't be a business woman, if you can't satisfy the kings aka the customer.
"I like this design but I want the work to be minimal. It's too heavy." She complained.
"I got you. Let's decrease the stones and make the fabric brighter. This is a pale pistachio green and I can suggest you go for a metallic shade of color."
"Will it be ideal for her skin tone?" The lady next to her questioned and I assumed it was her mom.
"Well, Ma'am let's not go back to the old days. We can make any color suit anyone. And even though she has a dusky tone, she has amazing features that will be highlighted by darker shades." I always disliked when people think certain shades of clothes might not be good on them. I never did that and all I wanted was myself to be comfortable in it.
"You spoke nice but that's something we can't avoid thinking about, right? Will it be good for me?"
I chuckled, saying, "You will look beautiful, Dear. If you can tell me when you need it, I'll work on it."
"I need it in two weeks time for my brother's wedding."
In the world where people buy clothes for their brother's wedding two weeks before. Here I stand not even thinking of my wedding dresses for a wedding which was going to happen in two days.
"Sorry. I was thinking of how to proceed with that and didn't hear you."
"I mean my sister in law came last week to your shop for her reception attire trial, I loved the soft fabric that you used in my sister in law's bridal attire. Can you use the same fabric for that price?"
Hmm... If I was comparing myself with a groom's sister who came to purchase her dress, then the circumstances make me remember the bride actually came
"Yeah! I remember her. Anchal right? The fabric I used we're high quality linen, for your budget I'll try to go with satin mixed linen."
She nodded,"Then you can go ahead with the stitching, Ma'am."
"I'll show you a certain fabric and you can confirm it for me."
"I'll take it from here, Boss. Someone has come to meet you and says it's really important." Hannah rushed to me and snatched the fabric model in my hand.
"Tell them to wait. I'll finish and come."
"Really important person Mishti."
"I'll keep seeing the fabrics and convey what's ideal for me to her. You please take care."
As I expected, the important person was Abir. Like I don't know why he's here, I ask, "Any issues with your suit? Corrections?"
"Little Dove, don't pretend like we don't have our engagement in a few hours. I will wear the suit you switched for me with love. Have you decided on yours?"
