Ella's Perspective

A soft rustling reached me, and I felt someone leaning over me. I blinked and slowly opened my eyes. The sudden difference in light blinded me, and it took a moment for my eyes to adjust. However, everything appeared blurry, and I couldn't quite make out the person.
"Luke?" I murmured softly. "Ella! You're awake! How do you feel? Does anything hurt?" Luke asked, bombarding me with questions. I sat up slowly, but Luke pushed me back with the words, "Be careful and better rest for a while." Back on... What exactly?
In that moment, I realized I didn't even know where I was. It definitely wasn't our campsite. It was too bright, and this looked more like a room. My vision sharpened, and in the next moment, I realized I was in Luke's bedroom. I was lying on his bed, and he sat at the edge.
"How are you feeling? Is everything okay?" he asked again. "Yeah... I'm okay... My head just hurts a bit," I replied, adding shortly after, "How did I even get here? What happened?" "Well, as for that... I found you a bit away from the tent, and you were unconscious. I brought you back, but when you didn't wake up after a while, I brought you to my place. As for what happened before that? No idea. I don't know anything more," Luke answered, shrugging. "Can you remember anything? Maybe what you were doing out there in the first place?"

I hesitated for a moment before responding, "I could swear you were there. I followed you, and then... I think I tripped... I'm not sure... Anyway, everything went black suddenly, and then... What's wrong? Why are you looking like that?"
Luke's expression made me pause, and I looked at him confused. "Ella, are you sure it was me?" he asked in a tone that made me reconsider everything briefly. "Yes... Yes, it was you. Why are you asking...?" I repeated, but this time a trace of doubt crept into my voice.
I slowly sat up, now sitting next to Luke, with my legs dangling off the bed. Luke took a deep breath and then said cautiously, "Ella, I have no idea who or what you saw, but it definitely wasn't me. I didn't leave the tent at all." It took a brief moment for me to process his words, and I immediately felt a sense of fear. "W-what? But... that can't be! It was you! I'm not crazy!" I exclaimed in panic. "Ella, calm down, please! It was probably just a side effect of your firepower. Everything is okay, alright?"

Luke's words, as always, had a calming effect on me, and I relaxed. That was what I liked about him. Whatever drove me to frustration or made me sad, he always knew how to cheer me up. And it was the same this time.

"Okay... You're probably right..." I replied, trying to conceal my nervousness. However, my trembling voice betrayed me. Luke sighed and put an arm around me. As he did so, I snuggled closer to him and buried my face in his chest.
"Sorry..." I whispered softly. My voice was muffled, but Luke still understood me. "It's okay..." he replied quietly.
