Debut

Hey guys... So I didn't update for a few years. So I don't rlly even remember what I was writing much less the roles of each person in their respective bands so I'm just making it up as I go lol. I kinda wanna scrap the entire band idea all together but I think I'm gonna need it for the story. 

Also, I need to write another story for smth else so if anyone has any ideas pls lmk in the comments. Thank you.

Linh

The dinner was honestly surprisingly uneventful. We all just had fun and got to know each other. It turns out that Luminaria Labels was making a boy band with Keefe, Fitz, Dex, and Tam was the last member. Anywho, it turns out that Wylie was the son of the CEO of Luminaria Labels but he isn't into music all that much. How unfortunate, I was really hoping that we could've bonded over something but it seems that we have completely different tastes. I'm not much of a rap listener. I am a professional pianist so classical music my go to.

Biana

I hate everything.

Tam is hot. Like really hot. And normally I would just make a move on him because I'm Biana Vacker. However, this is different. One. He is my friends twin brother and I just can't  have that. Two. When he was flirting with me at dinner, I got flustered?!?!  I don't get flustered. I have a ton of fun flirting with people but I can't seem to form a coherent sentence when he talks to me and it's beyond embarrassing. I have to stay away from him before I embarrass myself further and quite possibly ruin my rep as the IT girl.

"Well, our reservation time is up. We better get going," Sophie said as she starts getting up.

Keefe shot up immediately, "Yeah let's go." He offers Sophie his arms jokingly and she takes it, a slight blush coating her cheeks. Keefe makes his crush beyond obvious but of course Sophie can't see it. In stead, she insists on gaslighting herself into thinking that she still has a crush on my brother because he would be the safer option. Unfortunately, Sophie will not be my sister in law. She loves Keefe but she refuses to see it.

We all gather our things and head home in the cars that we came in, except Tam joined our car because Wylie was going to his house and not the hotel. Sophie drove and Linh sat in the passenger seat before I could even call it so Tam and I slid into the back seat. Refusing to look at him, afraid to embarrass myself again, I stared out the window. A comfortable silence engulfed the car with only soft music playing in the background.

"So Linh," Tam started nonchalantly.

"No," Linh stated  from the front.

"You didn't even know what I was gonna say."

"Shut up."

"I'm wounded, sister. Anyway, stay away from Wylie."

I rolled my eyes. The overprotective brother behavior is so old. "Why? Do you want him?" I shot back, finally looking at Tam.

His gaze turned to me, scanning me. Tams eyes narrowed but he didn't reply to me. Instead: "Wylie isn't the type of guy you want to go for."

I scoffed slightly, who was he to tell Linh what she could and couldn't do?

"Oh and who is?" I asked. 

"A nice guy. You know, the one who wants a white picket fence and shit," he replied. 

Linh looked back, "Wylie  seems nice enough."

Tam glared at her. "That's because you don't know him. How do you think his family is so rich? All legal?"

Linh gasped slightly. "What are you talking about?"

Tam pinched the bridge of his nose like he's already said too much  before gritting out, "Trust me. He's not the guy you think he is. He's much colder than the mask he's showing you."

The car became silent once more. What did Tam mean? I usually can tell people's real personalities pretty well but Tam's warning seemed sincere. 

The next day...

Fitz (At Luminaria Labels)

"We will release the new album in four months. It will have 8 songs. All of you start working on songs individually, then send them to us. We'll choose which ones to use and which we can combine. After we relese, based on the success, we will decide wether you'll go on tour or not," Wylie's mother (pretend she's alive or smth), the CEO of Luminaria Labels, finished.

I nodded, looking around the table to see the boy who are my new bandmates. We had a long road ahead of us. I made my way out of the building to my car.

"Wait up!!" I hear Keefe yell. I started to run to my car.

Keefe was faster and he grabbed me before I could make it. Laughing I asked, "What do you want?"

"I just wanted to ask you something," Keefe said nervously as he scratched the back of his neck.

I frowned. But realization dawned on me soon enough, "You're dating Sophie?"

"No!" He exclaimed.

"Then why do you look so nervous?"

"It is about Sophie. I'm not dating her. But I want to. Fitz, you're my best friend and I don't ever want to change that, but I think I really love her. I liked her since I first met her but I stayed away because of you. It hurt like hell, but now that you guys broke up, I want to ask her to give me a chance." Keefe looked at me. The look in his eyes was so foreign, almost desperate.

I jaw clenched but I sighed. I knew what he said was true. I saw the way he looked at Sophie for a long time and I think that's one of the reasons that Sophie and I broke up in the first place. She liked him a lot too but she was with me. And, of course, Keefe being my best friend never went to far when Sophie and I were together.

I weighed my words carefully before replying. "You want to know if I'm ok with it? Will it be weird seeing my ex and best friends together? Yeah absolutely. But I want what makes you happy, Keefe. You deserve that. So go ahead and try to court her. You have no opposition from me."

So guys... did you miss me? 

Anyway, I wrote this chapter with no planning and drafted so even I don't know where this story is going.

Did you hear that Shannon Messenger is releasing book 9.5. I want to cry, not from happiness. I started this series so long ago and now I'm really old lol. I just want this series to be over. I CAN'T DO THIS RN.
