»Yeseul!« The young girl was waiting at the market when she heard her name being called. She turned around and saw Hanseong waving at her excited. He wore a blue and light-pink hanbok and came towards her. She herself wore the dark-blue and dark-grey hanbok she always wore for archery and in which she was able to move the best. Mostly because the cut was very similar to a warrior's robe.
»Hello«, she greeted him.
»Hello«, the young Hwarang greeted back, »Yeowool told me that we're meet here.«
»Yes. Are you enjoying the break?«, she asked.
»Yes, I visited my grandfather and went around the city a bit. There are always so many things to see!«
»That's true.«
»How old are you?«, Hanseong asked curious, »So I know how I can call you.«
»I'm 20«, she answered. He looked at her surprised.
»Me too«, he said excited, »Let's be friends!«
»Yes, alright«, Yeseul agreed smiling over how excited he was.
»Ah, look«, they heard Yeowool's voice from behind them and turned around, »My two favourite people.«
He wore a dark-blue and red hanbok, looking handsome as always. He closed the fan in his hand and put his arms around their shoulders smiling.
»Let's go around the market a bit«, he suggested and they got going. Together they went around the market and looked at the different vendors. Yeseul really enjoyed the time talking and laughing with them. She felt so happy and lively.
Hanseong stopped at a table that had a lot of different things laying on it. He looked at it interested trying to find something that would catch his eye.
»Do you like anything?«, Yeowool asked, »Should I buy you something?«
»All of it is interesting to look at but I won't take anything with me this time«, the young Hwarang explained. Yeowool nodded and went to Yeseul who smiled.
»Come on then!«, Yeowool called Hanseong who still stood in front of the table.
»Yes!«, he answered, bowed lightly to the vendor and joined the other two.
»And you really don't want anything?«, Yeowool asked again.
»No, not this time. Dansae would scold me for bringing back useless things.«
»Alright. How about we buy some alcohol and go to the riverbed?«, he suggested.
»Sounds great«, Yeseul agreed. Hanseong nodded too. They divided themselves. While Yeowool and Hanseong would buy two jugs of alcohol and cups, Yeseul would buy something to eat.
A while later they met again at a path that would lead them to the riverbed. Yeowool carried a bundle, while Hanseong had two jugs in his hands. Yeseul herself had a little bundle of bread with her.
»Let's go!«, Yeowool said and they started their way to the riverbed. It wasn't far away from the populated part of the capital and easily accessible. It was already dark, but the bright light of the full moon was more than enough to see everything. They arrived at the riverbed, which reflected the moonlight in its water. It was surrounded by fields of high-grown reed. Hanseong put down the jugs and ran to the water. Yeseul smiled at the beautiful sight, put her bundle on the ground too and joined Hanseong at the river.
