"... For Mob? My student?" Reigen tilted his head. Teruki nodded. "Well, from what I know about his interests he seems quite fond of frogs, and he likes milk, but maybe don't get him a milk carton, that would be very odd. Flowers would be a safe choice maybe, and something frog related like a plush would maybe also work-" Reigen was cut off by Teru as he exclaimed "Thanks!" And ran off. Teru only realized halfway down the staircase that it was a little rude to not say bye so he shouted it hoping Reigen would hear. Tome looked at him funny and reentered the office.
..........
Teru was scavenging around Smile Mart's various different chocolates before finding some that he knew were both really good and included plentiful amounts of milk. Then it was off to that display shelf where he had seen many plushes at each time he'd visited the store.
Just like he was hoping, there sat a sage green frog stuffed animal with sewed eyes and a little darker green heart sewed into the off-white stomach. It was perfect for this- absolutely perfect. Teru looked at the price tag-
¥751.12.
Nice. It was a fair price as well.
And, just like that- Teru had a perfect gift for Kageyama-kun.
.........
Teru looked around- he had gotten to the meeting spot early. It was unusual for him to show up places early, but the excitement seemed to have hyped him up quite a bit.
The spot Teru chose was a public garden open to anyone for free. He personally liked the place and would go there frequently because of its therapeutic atmosphere. The flowers thrived around this time of year- already bloomed and soaking in the sun's light. He chose the time around when the sun should begin to set, because he always admired the pink, orange, and yellow skies that came as a result of it. Kageyama shown a minute before the time he had suggested he be here and he waved to Teru, who waved back with a smile. Gifts hidden behind his back inside a bag still.
"Hi, Hanazawa-kun!" Kageyama greeted him. "Hey, Kageyama-kun, glad to see you came here." "Of course, I didn't have anything else to do." Teru chuckled and Kageyama followed suit. Kageyama then tilted his head with curiosity. "What do you have behind your back?" He asked. Teru held the bag out to Kageyama to allow him to take it. "Look inside and I'll tell you why I asked you to be here today." He told Kageyama. Kageyama nodded and he looked in the bag, taking out the frogs and the chocolates. "Wow, Hanazawa-kun, this is so kin-" "I-I gave you these as representatives of my feelings for you!" Teru blurted out, interrupting the other boy. "... Your what?" Kageyama went red in the face. "I- uh, really like you." Teru inhaled deeply. Wow, he expected his voice not to be so shaky. "You do? You're not messing with me?" "Of course I do, I wouldn't want to play around with that topic I swear-" "Wow.. You beat me to it, then." "What?"
Kageyama smiled a little awkwardly- but it was genuine.
"I like you too- can I call you Teru? You could call me Shigeo."
Shigeo. The name repeated in Teru's head and he grinned ear to ear.
"Yeah, both those things sound amazing."
