Chapter 19 (Careful)

7 months later

After the incident happened at the party a few months ago. Y/n became quieter these days, her silence makes Jihyo worried. Today, Y/n and Jihyo were at the mall. They are eating in one of the restaurants there. Both of them enjoying their meal, but out of the blue Jihyo talking about something. "Hey, Y/n. I don't want to intervene in your life. But Umm I think you should stay away from Mr. Kim". Y/n who was eating raised her head to Jihyo. "What do you mean? You said he was a good man?" Said Y/n. "Well yeah but hear me out ok. I don't know why but there is something dangerous about him that we don't know," said Jihyo. "Oh, Jihyo you think too much. I think Mr. Kim is a good man he saved me at the party a few months ago from the drunken man," said Y/n explaining to Jihyo.

"Yes, I got the point. But, for your own sake stay away from him. Remember Y/n, you had Soobin" said Jihyo to Y/n. "I know Jihyo, I'm not a fool. Why are you saying this thing? You have known him from childhood, don't you? So, stop blabbering about him" said Y/n a little angry. "Ok, I won't. But remember what I said to you before you went to the party with him. Y/n, he is a grown-up man. He can do anything bad to you, plus Soobin is not by your side right now" said Jihyo in one breath. "I said enough, Jihyo. We came here to have fun and spend some time together. Not, gossiping about someone you are suspecting" said Y/n firmly.

Meanwhile...

A woman is standing outside the hotel. She looks behind her to see the hotel for the last time before she takes a taxi. "Where are you going, ms?" Said the taxi driver. "Take me to the xxx place please," said the woman. The driver just nodded his head and headed to the place. On her way there she looks outside the window and then she remembers that she has to make a report to her boss. She decided to tell him that her job was finished. After a few minutes of ringing, someone picked up her call. "Hello, sir it's me. Everything is set here and ready for you" said the woman on the phone. "Good, now don't show yourself until the day has arrived. When the times come, I'll call you back," said the boss. "Understand, sir," said the woman.

Then the boss just turned off the call and the call ended. She sighs in relief without realizing she look at her phone wallpaper. It is a picture with her friends, she suddenly shed tears especially when she sees someone she loves. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't do this kind of thing," she said while sobbing quietly in the back seat.

In Campus

Jihyo walked to the hallway while she called Y/n on the phone. "Y/n, where the hell are you? I'm looking for you" said Jihyo. "Sorry, Jihyo I'm at the canteen," said Y/n. "This child is something," said Jihyo. "Hahaha, please don't be mad at me Jihyo. Trust me I won't go anywhere" said Y/n on the phone. "Ok, I keep your word," said Jihyo. Then she cut the phone, when she was running, she walked past Mr. Kim's office. Mr. Kim is receiving a call, so he doesn't realize Jihyo is eavesdropping on his conversation. "Yes, everything is ready and according to the plan. She doesn't know anything about this" said Taehyung on the phone. "What is he up to?" Said Jihyo curiously. 

"No, my princess is innocent she doesn't know what I was up to or who I was. I'm always careful when I'm with her, for some reason I feel peace when I'm near her" said Taehyung while playing with his pen. Jihyo keeps listening to his conversation with someone. "You know what, I think she is perfect for me. I don't care about other people's words that I... snatch my own brother's girlfriend" said Taehyung with a little smirk. Jihyo who is outside is shocked when she hears it from Taehyung's mouth. "So, he was planning all this to get Y/n by himself. This is bad I've got to tell Y/n about this" Jihyo muttered to herself, and she went from there hurriedly.

Jihyo Pov

I know there is something wrong with him. So, my guesses for all this time are right. That man is dangerous, I've to find who he is.

End Of Jihyo Pov

Finally, Jihyo arrived and spotted Y/n at one of the tables there. She is eating her food happily while looking at her phone. In front of Y/n, there is a food tray for Jihyo. Jihyo approached Y/n quietly but before she could speak to Y/n suddenly Y/n said something "Where were you, Jihyo? You told me not to late but look at yourself you're the one who's late here" Y/n tones in a mix between angry and worried.

"Y/n, my dear you have to know this," said Jihyo panicking. "Calm down will you, what is wrong with you?" Asked Y/n. Then Jihyo start to tell her about the incident which happened earlier. After she was finished with her story, she looked at Y/n to see her reaction. Y/n just showed a straight face and suddenly she laughed. "Oh, come on Jihyo there's no way Mr. Kim will do such horrible things to Soobin," said Y/n. "I'm telling you the truth," said Jihyo. Y/n is still laughing and still acting like it was a joke "Don't watch too much drama Jihyo - ah" said Y/n giggling. "I'm just warning you to stay away from him. But if you don't want to its ok. It is up to you" said Jihyo.

At night
Jimin's House

Jimin and Jihyo are having dinner right now. Jimin is staring at his sister's face, she is eating with a straight face. "Is something bothering you?" Asked Jimin. "No, I just had a stupid fight with Y/n this afternoon," said Jihyo casually. "What are you guys fighting about?" Asked Jimin curiously. "There is nothing to worry about, Oppa. Trust me tomorrow I'll make it up to Y/n" said Jihyo. Jimin just nodded his head while chewing his food, suddenly Jihyo's phone buzzed indicating there was an incoming message.

Jihyo looked at her phone and it was from Soobin. The content of the message is...

"Jihyo - ah, I think you are thinking too much. It is impossible that my brother will snatch my Y/n away from me. Just leave it, ok."

Yes, Jihyo also told this matter to Soobin. His reaction is making her completely shocked and don't know what to say. Why don't her friends believe her at all? Suddenly an idea popped up in her mind, she looked at Jimin and said "Say, Oppa would you mind if I borrow your iPad? I've to do the assignments "Asked Jihyo. "What happened to your own?" Asked Jimin back. "I forgot to charge it the battery is completely dead so it can't be used.  I'm currently charging it" said Jihyo in one breath. "OK, it is on the table in the living room. You know the password isn't?" Asked Jimin.

"Sure, I'll know. Thank you Oppa" said Jihyo happily. Jimin just chuckled and said, "My pleasure, princess". Jihyo rushed to her room and jumped on her bed after that she immediately did her work. "Let's see who you are Mr. Kim," said Jihyo.

Jihyo Pov

I know Jimin Oppa saves his important file on this device.  He probably gave it a random name so I wouldn't get suspicious, after a minute I finally found something. Bingo, maybe this is it. Jihyo - ah you are very clever. I click on that document and magically it opens, I start reading it one by one to make sure I won't miss a thing. What kind of document is it? This is different than Appa's, my heart sank after I read it further.

I let out a gasp after I finished it. What the hell is this? there are illegal arms trafficking and sales of illegal drugs to several countries. Why does Jimin Oppa have this file? Who is he? I know he's currently running our family business. So, what is this?? but what does it have to do with my brother? I kept scrolling through it until I recognized his signature alongside his name. But what makes me surprised is my dearest Jimin is involved too in this dirty business. It also says that Taehyung is the mafia king of the whole of Seoul.

Without realizing a tear dropped from my face and fell over the tab screen. Oh my god, what kind of trouble you put us in. I've to save my bestie whatever it takes, I will not let him do whatever he wants even in the end I know he will kill me someday. But it is for everyone's sake. What makes me hurt the most is my brother is also a mafia and working under him. I hide my face in the pillow and cry my heart out...
