Ruby Rose was walking down the halls of Union, "yeah I totally had that vampire on the ropes, Professor Adam said I've got what it takes to fight monsters like him," Issei bragged.
Ruby just scoffed, she might have been knocked out by the vampire, but she still saw him get punched hard, she had been surprised that Isseis jaw hadn't flown off honestly, though the vampire did make her curious, he had gone out of his way to take her down without hurting her, there was something familiar in his eyes, like the look of an old friend.
Ruby knew the vampire was being kept in a prison beneath Union it was the only place safe from the sun so they could question him as well as draw out the vampire leader Caine.
Lilith
Lilith sat at a table sitting with the leaders of the dark races.
Caine and Lucifer sat to her left, and right, beside Lucifer sat Jonas Albrecht leader of the Garou, beside Caine sat Charon leader of the wraiths, next to Jonas sat Oberon leader of the fae, and next to Charon was a man in a hood, one of the Exarchs leaders of the Mages.
"Why have you called this meeting, Lilith?" Lucifer asked.
"One of the vampires has been taken by Union Academy," said Lilith.
"So that's Caines domain," said Oberon.
"This kindred is special to me," said Lilith.
"How so?" The Exarch asked in a distorted voice.
"This child's destiny is important not only to Kindred, but all the dark races," said Lilith, trying to avoid answering.
"Lilith, why is this child so important?" Lucifer asked.
Lilith looked to Caine.
"Huh, you all know of the prophecy I gave one thousand years ago, of the dark Messiah?" Lilith asked.
"Yes, you said a vampire would rise up and lead the dark races to peace," said Charon.
"Are you saying this boy is your prophesied savior?" Jonas asked.
"Indeed," said Lilith.
"How do you know this is him?" The Exarch asked.
"Do you dare question the lady of fate?" Lilith hissed.
"No, my lady," said the Exarch as he bowed his head.
"You all will help retrieve this boy, or you will lose my protection," said Lilith.
Every one of them bowed their heads to her.
"Now go prepare your troops," ordered Lilith.
The rest of the leaders got up and left, leaving the dark mother and father alone, "the legend of the dark son, that's the best you had?" Caine asked.
"I had to give them reason to go after him, using my prophecy was the only way to do it, even though the boy fits the criteria to be the Dark Son, I don't even know if that prophecy is true, despite being the lady of fate, I never put much stock in prophecy, but if claiming him a savior of the dark races is what it takes to save him, then it's what I'll do," said Lilith.
"I agree," Caine said as he left to prepare the Cainites.
Ruby
Ruby walked to the elevator to the prison beneath Beacon and took it down.
When Ruby got there, she walked down the hall to the room they kept the vampire in and opened the door.
What she saw felt like out of a horror movie, the vampire was tied to a chair with chains made of some unknown metal that glowed gold whenever he tried to break them, when it glowed the chains seemed to cause him pain.
The vampire was attached to a machine that seemed to be draining him of hid blood, "what are the headmasters doing?" Ruby asked as she slowly got closer to the vampire.
The vampire hissed at her and she held up her hands, "I don't want to hurt you," she said calmly, the vampire looked up at her and she felt shock.
"Damian," she said in shock.
Damian looked up at her, "Ruby," he said in a voice that sounded like his throat was dry.
"Your the vampire?" asked Ruby.
"Yes I am," said Damian as he coughed up some blood.
"What are they doing to you?" asked Ruby.
"Draining me, so I'll go into a frenzy, they want everyone to see that I'm a monster now," said Damian.
"Damian tell me, did the vampire leader do this to you?" asked Ruby.
"No, but I can tell you this, they're all coming," said Damian as he began to pass out again.
"Who's coming Damian?" she asked.
Outside of Union
The armies of the dark races stood on a cliff over looking the large school of heroes, at their head was Lilith a crow flew over head before landing and changing back into a man, he was Cuthbert Becket, a kindred of the Gangrel clan he bowed to the dark mother.
"He's nowhere above ground, my guess is they have him below ground, till they know they can get to your or Caine," said Becket.
"Well hear we are," said Lilith as her eyes glowed with anger.
"Attack," she hissed as the werewolves and Gangrel all shifted into wolf form and other animal forms, and all the monsters, fae, demons, and mages ran to the gates of Union and blasted them open.
The Headmasters of Union
"We're being attacked," a guard said coming into the office.
"By who?" asked Ironwood.
"Vampires, werewolves, demons, mages, wraiths," said the guard.
"It's impossible, how big is the army?" asked Michael.
"We can't tell, but they out number us," said the guard.
"No, no this can't be, they truly did all survive, all of them, every single one of the dark races is not only alive, their thriving," said Michael as he sat down.
"Get the students somewhere safe, and bring Damian up here now, perhaps we can avoid war with Lilith if Damian is returned," said Ozpin.
"That likely won't work, when Lilith sees the pain you've all inflicted on Damian, she might just kill everyone here on some form of motherly instinct," said Azazel.
"Perhaps, but it's the only plan we have, we can't let the children die, perhaps we can still forge an alliance with the Dark Races, perhaps Damian could be the key to that," said Ozpin.
"Team RWBY, retrieve the vampire from his prison," Ozpin ordered over his scroll.
Ruby
As Ruby was still in Damians prison she began to unhook him from the machine he was strapped to, and was about to undo the chains be he stopped her, "if you un tie me, I'll attack you, and I'll drain you dry," said Damian.
"I don't believe that Damian," said Ruby as she undid the chain Damian pinned her to the wall and opened his mouth fangs bared, Ruby didn't do anything to fight back, she had faith her friend would get control of this.
Just before Damian bit down on Ruby's neck, he managed to stop himself and he let her down.
"Let's get you topside before your new friends kill everyone to get to you," said Ruby as she helped Damian stand up and they headed for the elevator which beeped and the rest of Team RWBY stepped out.
