IERI'S POV
I got bored during my free time, and here I am now in my own hospital, healing one of the patients here. “Thank you so much madam Medici” The patient thanked me as I nodded at them, giving them a reassuring smile.
“Just do what my doctors will recommend you on what to do okay?” I advised while they nodded.
I left them there as their nurse checked on their health. I wanted to stay in my room today, but the things that are happening to me recently made me restless.
Being a guide is not what I expected, I can feel myself drained and suddenly feeling recharged after healing myself, and I can feel pain in every part of my body out of nowhere, until I heal it.
My head started to throb, as I hissed ‘wow my job just started a few days ago and it started to get a toll on me’ I complained as I hurriedly walked towards my office, not wanting to show any weaknesses to my workers.
As soon as I arrived at my office, I immediately walked towards where my glasses are, got one and poured myself a glass of water, chugging it down.
“Wow, I'm that dehydrated?” I said once again.
“Wow, you're that focused on getting yourself water, you didn't even notice me?”
A familiar calm and soft voice exclaimed. I turned around and saw Peter.
‘Right, I forgot I put him in charge’ I thought, “I did, I just put my attention on getting myself water” I replied as I sighed in relief. “How's it going?” I asked.
He stood up with a smile and looked at the papers he's holding. “Well, there are a few things that you need to sign, so I separated them” He said while rearranging the papers, and walked towards me.
As soon as he got near me, he handed me the papers and I took them. I analysed the texts printed on the paper while he explained it to me, summarising every paper so that I don't have to read all of it.
“And here , they're still asking for your assistance again” he said as I flip another paper revealing the last paper he's talking about.
I sighed in frustration as I gripped the last one, it glowed in my touch, then evaporated along with light particles. “Why won't they just stop?” I paused “I don't want any war to happen between countries, I mean if there are going to be a war between monsters and humans maybe I'll step in–” I stopped as a vision appeared before my eyes.
I clenched my eyes as my hands letting go of the papers, making it hit the ground as it scattered, my hands now clenching my head since a headache suddenly gripped my head tightly. I hissed stumbling a bit backwards.
There I saw dead bodies, not monsters, unlike those I saw in the Divine being's memories, those are human bodies, and tall building now ruins that are full of smoke and fire.
