𝚄𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙼𝚘𝚘𝚗, 𝙱𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚂𝚎𝚊- 𝘈 𝘗𝘑𝘖 𝘛𝘝 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘧

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟑

At lunch

Percy didn't see Luna the whole morning, and he was failing in everything he was trying.

"Is there a Greek good of disappointment?" Percy asked sarcastically while sitting opposite Luke and Chris, "maybe someone should ask him if he is missing a kid"

"Oizys" answered Chris, Luke looked at him in disbelief. "But she is a goddess and her whole thing isn't really disappointment, but more like failure."

Percy suddenly felt like he should look on his left and when he did she saw Luna taking her lunch. And the moment he called her,

"Luna!"

Luna looks at his way startled, "Come on join us" said Percy.

Luna looks at Chis and Luke and then curses under her breath and walks towards his table.

"I didn't see you the whole morning" says Percy

"I was helping Chiron and Mr. D was being an ass as usual" replied Luna with a smile while taking a seat beside Percy.

Luna looks up from her lunch towards Chris, "Nice to see you too Chris"
Chris nods at her greeting with a smile.
But she doesn't acknowledge Luke.
Luke clenches his jaw, but continues to eat.

A bell chimes, "Our turn" says Luke
"Our turn for what?"

"Burnt offerings" says Luna while getting up from her seat, Luke and Chris explain the whole thing to him, he is listening to everything; but he is watching how Luna gives up some fruits and pulls out a packet of mint chocolate flavoured wafers and throws it into the fire too.

Capture the flag game

"You are with Luke, Luna" said Annabeth, Luna keeps her helmet on the side and starts walking with her.

"Like I didn't know that, Annabeth. And it's ok before you say sorry even if I hate him I can still work as a team." Luna quickly changes the subject, "Did you really confess that you were stalking him Anna? Like why? It sounded like you were a creep"

Annabeth shrugs and approaches Percy. "Not you sunshine, you are with me."

Luna watches Percy leaving with Annabeth while she is walking towards Luke and others.

"So, formation hasn't changed, it's the same, Clarisse would be busy tracking down Percy for revenge and we will be able to capture the flag and win. Clear everyone?"

"Crystal clear." Says Chris with a smile.

"Luna I am-" Luke starts to say but Luna interrupts him.

"It's Lunette for you." Her tone is harsh and cold, and it sends shivers down the spine of a few people who heard them, "We are in the same team, we will work together that's it. I don't care about your apologies."

Luna was scary when she wanted to be, even scarier than Annabeth. But otherwise she is always like the moonlight, calm and composed, with a smile on her face along with her soothing presence.

(2nd conch shell blows)

Luna is one of the best swordswoman in the camp. Her brother and Luke were best friends and the best swordsmen in the history of the half-blood camp.

The three of them had a really good relationship, they used to spar together and sometimes Luna and Luke used to gang up on Theo and Theo used to fight them off effortlessly. They ate lunch together, Theo and Luna used to prank Luke together. Everything was perfect until Luke's quest.

Luke and Chris have got the flag, while she was busy giving them cover. She saw Annabeth pushing Percy into water, and Chiron comings forward, then she saw the trident above Percy's head, he had been claimed.
