Researcher. Realist. Necromancer. Monster. Rhodes wears each title with equal weight. And if he doesn't make a bone trade soon, his new title will be Dead. Stuck in a corner, he's willing to try something crazy: trading with a vampire. Except that vampire, Errek, despises Rhodes. They may find common ground in Errek's developing agenda as he continues to ascend to higher ranks. However, for now, the one thing they have in common is an enemy. A group of exterminators immune to both vampiric and necromantic abilities.
