Sevyn's POV
Justreaching home from my boyfriends i greet my mother in the kitchen.
"Afternoon mother i'm surprised to see you home."
My mother's a nurse with three teenage kids so she tends to take on more shifts than she can manage, i don't complain because she has a passion for it but it would be nice to see her at home more often.
"Suh nuh yasso me live Sevyn?" She asks pulling me into a hug

"You know what i mean mum."
"Well that a guh change now mi a cut back pon mi shift dem and Star a move back home next week." She says taking grapes out the freezer.
Star is my little sister she's 15 and stays with our paternal grandmother most of the time due to our mothers hectic shift times.
"What's the sudden change of heart?" I ask not convinced
"Well that's something i wanted to talk to you and your brother about so seeing as your here i can do just that." She says before yelling my brother's name and telling him to come downstairs.
"Wah the loud noise fah uh cya call me name like a normal person mommy" Sekani says as he enters the kitchen giving me the middle finger as our eyes lock.
"Weh uh nuh guh stick it up uh gyal" I say flipping him back off
"That me plan fi do later still" He smirks trying to take up one of the frozen grapes but our mother slaps his hands.
"Owee Mummy uh nuh fi suh mean enuh me a your only son eno" He says this time holding his hand out waiting for my mother to place a few in his hands.
He uses this time to provoke me more by sticking his tongue out at me.
"Enuh cya grow up? Or a nuh enuh me have a uwi 17 years ago tomorrow?" She asks
"A him eno from him enter the kitchen him a bother me" I say giving him a nasty glare he laughs.
Why do brothers never grow up?

"Anyways how would you guys feel if your father was to stay with us for a few months?" She asks

"Mi love my father eno so me nuh care but why here ...him nave house upper cherry gardens?" Sekani asks with a confused look on his face

"It's being renovated so i offered for him to stay here."

Our father is a business man, a chief executive at a top firm in America to be exact so if he wanted to he could rent a place whilst his home is being renovated.
