Author's Note: Sorry for the inconvenience on not posting for a while. I'm feeling better and I'm back in business!

After a wonderful night with each other, Four and Three are sitting together under the moon. This moment is so special that Three wishes it could last forever. Their faces lean in closer, about to kiss when...

DING DONG!

Three whips his head around to see the clock had struck 12 (That clock really hated him). He instantly remembered what Tari had told him as he left. "At the stroke of midnight my magic will fade and everything will go back to normal." His time was up. In a wave of panic, he quickly pulled away from Four. "What's the matter? Are you okay?" Three didn't have that much time to explain so he got up and said "It's midnight." Four looked confused as he arose as well. "Well yes but-" Three didn't want to do this, but he waved and yelled "Goodbye!"

"Wait! You can't leave now!" Four said as he grabbed Three by the hand. Anxiety was really getting the better of Three as he said sternly "I have to go." Four didn't want to see T- whoever this was to leave as he pleaded in an annoying voice "Whyyyyy?" The clock struck again and Three pulled his hand out of Four's grip. "Let go of my hand idiot!" He dashed off as quickly as he could, hearing behind him "No wait! I don't even know your name! How will I find you?" Why was it so painful for him to do this to the prince? Meggy was sitting in a chair, bored out of her mind till she saw a guy dash out from the curtains and- WAIT A MINUTE THAT WAS WHO THE PRINCE WAS DANCING WITH!!!

Meggy freaked out as she thought "Oh shoot! The king is going to kill me!" She then sees Four racing out, determined to stop the boy as well. "Meggy! Please don't let him leave yet!" He suddenly gets stopped by a bunch of girls that wanted to dance. "Right away!" Meggy said as she ran off before losing Three.

Three was racing down the palace stairs as fast as he could. God those slippers hurt. This would be much easier if he didn't have these uncomfortable shoes, wearing his feet down. One foot felt much more at ease. That was better. Wait- Three turned around and saw that one of the slippers had fell off on the stairs. He went to grab it but Meggy was running down the stairs. "Sir! If I could just have a moment!" He abandoned the slipper and this time, made sure that the other slipper didn't fall off while he was running. Screw it! He hated those things anyway. Meggy noticed the slipper on the ground and picked it up, still calling out after Three.

Three found Eggdog at the carriage who was yelling "Hurry dad! The spell is almost broken!" He slammed the door and they took off just as Meggy got to the bottom. She was naturally distraught as she yelled "Quick close the gates!" That didn't work as the carriage narrowly slipped out in time. Panicking, she calls out to the guards "Follow that coach!" Horses begin to set out right on the trail.

The clock just keeps chiming as the palace grows smaller and smaller in the distance. The carriage starts to feel weird as it slowly melts back into a pumpkin. Sparkles appear all around as the horses turn back into mice. Three blinks a few times as he finds himself sitting on a pumpkin, wearing the torn up suit, and Eggdog is back to his adorable self. The guards on horses coming speeding up while a panicked Eggdog and Three dive into the bushes. Lucky for them they made it out of the way at the last second. The pumpkin however, wasn't so lucky as it was trampled into pieces and the horses disappeared into the night.

Eggdog was whimpering as Three picked him up and comforted him. "I'm sorry buddy." It had all happened so quickly. "I guess I forgot about everything...even the time." Eggdog nuzzled into his chest as to say "It's not your fault." Three smiled and sighed. "It was wonderful." His pupils were shaped like hearts as he monologued. "He was so handsome and when we danced..." All he could think about was Four. "It felt so-" He then noticed Eggdog, sniffing the slipper that apparently was still left.

Knowing Three, you'd probably think he would throw it on the ground, happy to be rid of that cursed footwear. Instead he picked it up and held it softly to his chest. Tears of joy slipped down his eyes as he whispered "Thank you so much..." He was so grateful to have a reminder of the first time he felt true happiness...no....true love.

It was late at the castle and Meggy was giving herself a pep talk before facing the king. "You can do this Meggy!" She faces the door, about to knock..."I CAN'T DO THIS!" Once she sets one foot in there, she would be a dead squid. The king was having wonderful dreams about his grandchildren till a knock was heard at the door. "Well come in!" Meggy is about to speak when he grabs he and sets her in a chair. "HE'S PROPOSED ALREADY! TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT!" She winces. "Sire I didn't get a chance too-"

"No matter! We have to start thinking of wedding preparations, invitations, national holiday..." He then dashes off to grab a sword and asks Meggy "What title would you like?" Meggy stammers "Sire, he got away."

"That's a peculiar title, but if that's what you- HE WHAT!?" The king looms over her with his sword as Meggy is shaking. "P-P-Please sire! Your son wants to marry him!" He stops, not saying a word. She pulls out a glass slipper and says "Four says he loves him! He won't rest till he finds him! He's determined to marry him!"

"What? What did you say?" Meggy calms down a little a clears a gulp in her throat. "Your son. He swears he won't marry anyone, but the man who fits the slipper." The king yoinks the slipper out of Meggy's hands and giggles excitedly. "We've got him now!" Meggy tries to reason with him that the slipper could fit any number of people to which the king replies with "Well that's his problem."

He then shoves the slipper into Meggy's face and says "You try this on every man in the kingdom and if the shoe fits you bring him in." She takes the slipper and sighs. "Yes your majesty."

Four is pacing around his room, wondering who that elegant man could be. He loved him. He wanted to marry him. He did but...did he love him back? "I should have just gotten his name from the start or just proposed to him before he left." Granted that would have been pushing it, considering they had just met. "I'm coming my love, I'm coming..."
