I plopped down on the floor beside Mick.

"having fun?" I teased running my fingers through his hair.

He's currently finishing the puzzle him and Jack started last night.

He hummed moving around the pieces.

I giggled kissing his head before standing up.

"princess Jack!"

"outside!"

I slipped on my slippers then went out back. I saw Jack working on one of his karts.

I smiled walking over.

"pass me the wrench"

I picked up and handed it to him.

"thanks"

I hummed.

He rolled back out from underneath the kart.

"you know we miss you on the grid" he said sitting up.

I sighed.

He sat up and I bent down to his level. I grabbed a towel and dabbed his forehead.

"I miss you boys too" I smiled softly.

F2 was something else

I helped him finish up on the kart before we headed back inside to find Mick fast asleep on the floor beside his puzzle.

He only had one piece left.

I put the missing piece in then laid a soft kiss on his lips.

I stood back up then headed upstairs. I went out onto the terrace and curled up on the chair with a book.

As I flipped through the pages my phone started ringing.

I looked down and saw that it was dad.

I sighed softly answering it.

"hi baba"

"Amani! where've you been!?"

I closed my eyes.

"Mick and I are in Aus-"

"Mick? Mick is there? I thought you two broke up?"

I smiled innocently.

"oops"

"haay bhagavaan"

I laughed.

"and what did you do to your hair?"

I pulled at a strand.

"you don't like it?" I pouted.

"no! I love it beta it's beautiful"

I smirked.

"love you baba"

We talked for a bit until Mick came into the room. I said goodbye to dad then got up and went back inside.

"greetings sleeping beauty" I teased.

He laughed opening his arms.

I walked into them and kissed him.

"well I had something planned for us today but I fell asleep" he said sheepishly scratching the back of his head.

I laughed.

"but we can still do the last thing I planned"

I smirked.

"and what is that Schumacher?"

He let go of me and walked over to the dresser. He opened the drawer and pulled out a small red box.

He then walked back over and got down on not ONE knee but TWO.

My heart stopped.

"I will never let you leave me again Amani. I now know that I can't afford to lose you and my family and I both need you in our lives. you are my whole world and without you I have nothing to live for. we may have our ups and downs and we go through hell and back, but as long as we do it together as a team we will prevail. from the day I set eyes on you at Prema I knew you'd be mines and look at you here now. He flipped open the box and I stumbled back.

"so Amani, will you please marry me?"
