"Good morning boys." Cheadle greets as the two boys enter the room where they first talked yesterday. Gon looked no different than he did yesterday, energy still bouncing off him despite the early hour. Killua, on the other hand, was a lot more groggy. She herself was still slightly tired, but after already being up for an hour some energy was starting to flow.

She flipped on a switch, causing the two metal rods adjacent to each other to start emitting a deep purple smoke. "Once you step through this portal you'll reach your destination in a few seconds. Someone should be there to greet you." Cheadle started to explain. Her eyes flicked nervously from Gon's bouncing energy to Killua's groggy stance, her mind weighed down by the impossible task she was assigning them. Actually sending some hunters away to attempt to stop the end made everything feel more real.

The two boys stood with confidence in front of the portal, awaiting a signal to walk through. Were these two really the only two she could send? They are just kids. They had already done so much for the world. Maybe if she dug a little more she'd be able to find someone to take their place. Someone older and more experienced. She opened her mouth to call out to the two again, but stopped before any sound could be emitted. The reality that it would be too late before she found other people meeting the criteria hit her hard. It was too late to go back, and these boys would give everyone a shot at living past a year. If she didn't send them, everyone's death would basically be guaranteed. She didn't have time to find the best people, she had to settle for them. "Good luck." She chokes out, filling the void of her open mouth. The two boys immediately step through the portal, any trace of them disappearing almost immediately.

They would be okay. She said to herself. They were competent fighters, so they should be able to stop any creature this government made. The futile attempts of calming words did little to reassure her. With a sigh, she flips open her phone and makes a call. She should have someone check in on them sooner rather than later. The government there did not seem happy with her at all, so she needs to assure they are being treated well. Her mind drifts back to the conversation she had with one representative from the government last night.

"You're sending someone who hasn't been in full strength for 6 months! How the hell will they be able to teach a combat class!" A government agent yelled at Cheadle through an interworld communication device.

"You wanted someone who could fit into a classroom environment, so that is what we are giving you. We are doing our utmost to meet all your demands. Please remember that your mistake is affecting the people in both of our worlds." Cheadle said calmly, biting back the urge to yell back at the agent.

"You said you are sending two people right! Just don't send the weak one." The government agent promptly responded, making no attempt to match Cheadle's calm demeanor. Cheadle mused slightly at the thought of them thinking Gon was weak as it was far from the truth.

"I'm not going to budge on this. Both of them need to stay together." Cheadle refused to give her real reasoning, it being that she wasn't about to send a kid to another world all by himself.

"You said you were only going to send one!"

"I never said that." Cheadle corrects immediately after, slightly spinning in her chair. "I said it would be difficult to find even one person with your list of stupid rules." She hears a dramatic huff on the other end of the phone before a response is granted.

"Fine. I'll send Karasuma to meet them at the place."

"I'll send them through." She responds, equally as short, and hangs up quickly

Karasuma wasn't sure what he was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this. Two children, no older than 13, emerged from the portal. The boy with green hair had a giant smile on his face, while the other one seemed more skeptical of the environment, his eyes darting around the room.
