"Karasuma, who would you pick?" Kurapika gives the decision on who is to fight Takaoka to Karasuma. He's been with the students all year. "Don't pick Gon or Killua, neither of them would fully hold back against him." Kurapika adds the last part to at least spare the guy his life. It'd be a pain to deal with a dead body in this world, especially because Kurapika doesn't have any good connections in this world.

Karasuma looks over the crowd of students before approaching Nagisa. Kurapika nods at the decision and walks over to where Gon and Killua were. "Kurapika, why didn't you let me pummel that jerk!" Gon pops up from the ground, obviously irritated at the situation.

"I can't let you breach the contract we have. It'd be best to stay on the good side of the people of this world."

"Still..." Gon flops to the ground.

"Let's go on a walk. Let off some steam." Killua holds out a hand and pulls Gon back to his feet. The three hunters then walk into the wilderness surrounding the school.

"Are you two enjoying it here?" Kurapika asks to which Gon immediately nods.

"Everyone is super nice here. I'm really excited that this is my first mission back after being away for a while. It's a pretty low key job." Kurapika nods in approval at Gon's answer.

"What about you, Killua?"

"It's nice and all. It's been a while since I didn't have to worry about my family coming for me. I am a bit worried about Alluka though. Hopefully they don't go after her once they find out I'm gone."

"From what I'm aware, no one has approached where Alluka is."

"Good." Killua says as the trio make their way back to where the rest of the class was gathered. The new teacher was on the ground with the principal looming over him.

"Who is the guy over Takaoka?" Kurapika asks as they approach the group.

"That's the principal." Killua answers, placing his hands behind his head. The principal creeped Killua out at times due to his ideals that he preached like the worker ant theory and so on. Also his vibe was just creepy. Kurapika approaches the principal to introduce himself. If he's the one overseeing Gon and Killua's time at school, it's best to become acquainted with him.

"Hello. I would like to introduce myself as Gon and Killua's guardian at the moment. I am Kurapika Kurta of the Kurta clan." Kurapika bows slightly while doing his introduction.

"I see you are the next person the Hunter Association has sent. It's a pleasure to meet you. I am Gakuho Asano, the principal of this illustrious institution. Is the Kurta clan influential back in the world of hunters?" Gakuho scans Kurapika, seemingly looking for any weakness he could exploit.

"The Kurta clan was wiped out when I was just a child. I am the only survivor." Kurapika answers, lifting his head.

"Oh my, how tragic. I guess this goes to show how much more peaceful our world is compared to yours. I hope you can enjoy a peaceful stay." Gakuho says, slighting the hunter world.

"I appreciate your words. I will relish my time in this world where underworld crimes are hidden so well." Kurapika replies to defend the hunter world. There is no doubt that crime in this world is less, but the crime that does happen is well organized and hidden from the public eye, giving the public almost a false sense of peace. At least in the hunter world people know of the exuberant amount of crimes and act accordingly to survive. "Good day." Kurapika walks back over to Gon and Killua.

"You sure have a way with words." Killua says, popping a lollipop out of his mouth.

"Where did you even get that?" Kurapika whispers as the lollipop came from nowhere.

"Huh?"

"Nevermind." Kurapika says. "I'll meet you two back at home." Kurapika then quietly departs.

The Next Day

"Where do you think we're going?" Gon asked as he followed Korosensei with the rest of the class down the mountain. "Do you think there's a pool somewhere? It's pretty hot out." Gon wipes the sweat from his forehead.

"I'm not sure; I guess we'll find out." Killua says. "I'm just glad we don't have any classes today. I can barely think in that school when it's this hot out."

"I don't like classes no matter the weather."

"Same, but I especially don't like them when it's this hot out."

"Gon, Killua!" The two hunters turn around at the shout from behind them and see Maehara running towards them. Isogai was slightly behind him. "We've been meaning to ask you a question, but you guys always come right before school starts and leave right when it's over. It's almost impossible to talk to you guys."

"Why would we stay in that hell hole longer than we need to?" Killua particularly disliked the school aspect of this mission. Maehara lets out an uncomfortable laugh.

"Cold as ever. Anyway, do you guys have schools back in your world?" Kurapika raises an eyebrow at the question. Killua really must be gatekeeping Gon if they don't even know that much about the world. Gon definitely would talk all day about his world if someone kept asking questions.

"They exist, but I didn't go to school full time." Killua answers.

"What about you, Gon?"

"Nope, I live on a small island, so there aren't enough kids to have a school. My aunt Mito homeschooled me though."

"Kurapika?"

"I, too, did not go to any school."

"Aww man, I was really hoping to get some insight on schools from another world." Maehara seemingly deflated at the notion that all three hunters never went to school.

"It's not that cool. It's basically the same as this school. Though most schools have small class sizes." Killua replies, confused on why schools in his world would be so interesting. Not going to a school was more common than going to school in the hunter world due to the high amount of orphans. People with wealth, like Killua's family, also didn't really go to school as they saw themselves above the system.

"Wow, Killua, I didn't know you went to a school." Gon had never met anyone who had gone to school in the hunter world as 98% of his interactions outside his secluded island were among hunter prospectives and hunters. And hunters had an even lower school enrollment compared to the rest of the world.

"I did for around 6 months when I was 7 for a mission. I was unenrolled right after."

"You became a hunter at 7?" Maehara asked. This was the most Killua had talked in his whole stay here, so Maehara wasn't about to let Killua's friendly attitude go to waste.

"No, I was 12."

"Then why did you get a mission?"

"This mission was from my parents for their business. Hunter's don't usually get missions. This is really an exception."

"Parent's business? What do they do?"

"Hmm." Killua unwrapped a lollipop, the crinkle of the paper in Killua's hand added to Maehara's anticipation. "I like how things are now, so I'm not gonna say." Killua popped the lollipop into his mouth. "Oh look, we're here." Killua quickened his pace to catch up to Kurapika who had gone slightly ahead, leaving Maehara feeling as though he learned nothing more about the hunter world.
