Atom walked through the corridors of his ship, the SES Lord of War, his black and orange armor shining under the fluorescent lights. His helmet was off, revealing his chiseled face with a determined expression. He had just recovered from his injuries from their previous mission and was finally able to move around his ship.
Max, his fellow helldiver, walked beside him, his orange and white armor also glinting in the light. He too had his helmet off, showing his rugged features and the scar across his cheek.
The two of them reached their destination, the Remembrance Room. Inside, there was a large screen that displayed images of their fallen squad members from previous missions. Dusk, Snake, Shadow, Xeno, Panther, and Dark. All KIA on the planet Malevelon Creek, against the vicious Automatons.
Atom and Max stood in front of the screen, saluting their fallen comrades. They both felt guilty for being the only two survivors of their squad. They couldn't help but wonder if there was something else they could have done to save their friends.
Atom clutched his fist and gritted his teeth. He had vowed to avenge their deaths and put an end to the Automatons once and for all. He turned to Max, determination burning in his eyes.
'We won't let them get away with this,' he said firmly.
Max nodded in agreement. 'We'll make sure their sacrifices were not in vain.'
With renewed determination, Atom and Max headed to the control room to plan their next mission. They would make sure to honor their fallen squad members and bring justice to their deaths. The SES Lord of War was their home, their fortress, and they would use it to defend Super Earth and the human race with their lives.
