Episode 6: The Kamino Job

"Everything alright Wen?" Kay asks him as he gets back on the ship. When she gets no response, she asks him again.

"WEN?"

"Oh yeah, no I'm fine, I'm fine. In fact, I just picked up our next bounty," Wen responds as he powers up the ship.

"Oh yeah?" Shia asks, "Where we headed?"

"First, Coruscant," Wen replies, while his conversation with his uncle replays in his head.

"You think you're real slick huh?" Cad Bane asked Wen in a dark alley on Concordia.

"I mean, I learned from the best," Wen replies slowly.

"Sidious knows someone leaked info on Order 66. He questioned everyone on the transmission that interrogated that trooper Kix, and when no one fessed up, he killed them," Bane continued. "Next thing I know, he's on my crew, wondering if someone found out something they shouldn't,"

"That, uh, sounds like it was, real uncomfortable for you,"

"Fortunately, Sidious and I have a good working relationship. Told him I'd find the perp and take care of it,"

"That also sounds really uncomfortable for... whoever leaked that info,"

"As far as Sidious knows, it was Robonino. The trail of evidence was so strong against him, Sidious ended him before he could plead his case," Cad responds.

"Welp, sounds like he made a bad business decision," Wen says with a hint of nervousness in his voice.

Cad Bane then leans in real close. "I taught you everything you know," He tells Wen, "You don't think I recognize my own nephew's handiwork?"

"I'm sure I don't know what you mean," Wen responds.

"It's alright," Cad Bane replies and places his hand on Wen's shoulder. "I covered for you, because I'm going to make this profitable for both of us,"

Wen flashes back to the present as the crew lands on Coruscant and he speaks before the Jedi Council again.

"Are you sure?" Micah Windu asks him.

"Positive," Wen replies. "Darth Sidious has a massive invasion force headed for Kamino. And according to his transmission
with my uncle, he and his new assasin, Darth Vader are going to lead the attack themselves."

"A plague, this Darth Vader has been. Killed many Jedi since Dooku fell he has," Yoda remarks.

"And we're no closer to learning his identity," Plo Koon muses.

"What size of a force are we talking about?" Micah asks Wen.

"I'm sure you've noticed how Sidious has pulled forces from key locations and  increased droid production." Wen says and then holds up a holographic projection showing a huge array of ships. "This is the rough size of the attack force. Sidious is abandoning every Separatist stronghold and directing the full droid army to Kamino,"

The Jedi Council murmur amongst themselves.

"The clones have noticed Separatists have pulled out of the many territories they once controlled," Liciali notes.

"We'd need almost every Jedi to help defend the planet against an attack force of this size," Plo Koon comments.

"Especially if the Dark Lord himself will be there," Ronjr notes. "He's still incredibly powerful and reports have said his new apprentice Vader is even stronger than Dooku was,"

"This very well could be a trap," Micah Windu points out.

"Lose the Grand Army, however, we cannot. If Kamino falls, the Republic will as well," Yoda says to everyone.
