The pair parked in the restaurant parking lot, madelyn immediately noticing how beautiful it already was just on the outside. She watched out the window with a smile on her face until she realized the paparazzi was standing outside of the parking lot gates.

"Oh god." She said, rolling her eyes and giving Brock a look. "What's wrong?" He asked, looking in the direction she had been looking before her mood changed. "OH. I see." He said, noticing the flashing lights from their cameras.

"Whatever, they can see. Do you care?" He asked with a shrug. She looked at him surprised. "No, I don't mind at all. But, are you sure?" She sits up a little bit in her seat.

"Of course, I'm not hiding you or anything. We don't have to talk to them at all, we just simply walk by." He gave her a reassuring smile, making her nod her head and reach for her seatbelt.

"Stay!" Brock called out quickly, exiting his seat and jogging to open up the door for her. She gave him an appreciative smile before they headed toward the restaurant entrance.

The paparazzi lights continue flashing them as they followed as close behind them as humanly possible asking hundreds of questions.

"Are you guys dating?"
"Are the rumors true?"
"Brock, is she the reason you made your touchdown today?"
"We saw you guys at the game, is it official?"
"Do you guys plan to announce it?"
"Madelyn is the new song tomorrow about him?"

The two ignored them all, rushing inside of the restaurant as fast as they could. "They are so annoying, jeez. I'm so sorry" Madelyn quickly said as they were finally surrounded by people without cameras in their faces.

"Sorry for what? You didn't do anything!" Brock says, laughing slightly at her apology. "I don't know their dumb questions." She said, not really knowing why she apologized either.

"Don't apologize! It's not your fault, they just have nothing better to do. No biggie." He gave her a small smile, walking up to the reception desk to be sat. A host led us to a table farther in the back of the restaurant, but it was absolutely beautiful.

They were sitting next to a window with a beautiful view of the city. "This is beautiful, I love it," Madelyn said, getting comfortable in her seat. "I'm glad you do, the hassle it was to get the window seat!" He joked, making her laugh.

"I didn't take you for a romance, I'll be honest." She said, opening her menu and beginning to look through it. "That's because you haven't gotten to know me yet" He smiles, copying her and beginning to look through the menu.

The waitress eventually comes back, taking their orders and bringing their drinks, which were both just water. "So" Brock said after taking a sip through his straw. "Tell me about you"

"What do you want to know?" she asked him, smiling and keeping eye contact across the table. "Anything. I want to get to know you. Do you have anything you really like to do? Besides music of course."

She thought for a moment. "Reading, being away with Gracie and Ev, umm...I like interior design, photography, I like going out to eat.." She named things as they popped into her head.

"I guess I chose a good first date then, huh?" He jokes, her smile widening. "You sure did. What about you, what do you like?"

He shrugged, "mostly just football, which sounds like a super lame answer. But I've put my whole life into getting to where I am now. I just like being outside, and active." He explains, madelyn smiling as she listens.

"Well, I can say for certain that you've definitely earned your place. You deserve it more than anyone." She smiled at him, him returning the gesture. "How did you get into music?" He asked, changing the subject away from him as he was curious to know her.

"I've always loved it, when i was little i used to sing in local town musicals and i just worked my ebay up the scale, you know. I have a somewhat difficult time verbally expressing myself to people, so I put it into song." she explains to him just in time for their waitress to come back with their plates.

She placed them down, both of them thanking her before she walked away. "That's a good way to do it, if i could sing id totally try it" He smiled as he joked, attempting a bite of his food.

"I guess I'll just have to teach you." She said, shrugging and taking a bite of her food as well. "I guess you will." He replied, a smile on his face as he watched her with eyes full of admiration.

The two continued talking and getting a new understanding of each other throughout the entire dinner. They discussed their favorite things, and everything in between.

Even after finishing their food, they stayed for a little longer, just talking and joking with each other. The waitress eventually brought them their bill, both madelyn and brock reaching for the wallets.

Madelyn places her card down, Brock giving her a funny look. "What?" She asks, wondering if there was something on her face or something. "Put that away!" Brock said, picking up her card and putting it back in front of her.

"No! You're not paying!" She said, putting her card back down on the bill, he picked it up once again and placed it in front of her. "Maybe next time!" He said quickly as the waitress picked up the bill with his card.

"Thank you" She smiles with a dramatic sigh, making him laugh. They cleaned up their table a little before the waitress returned his card to him, he signed it and left a tip before getting up out of his seat.

The two headed towards the door, Madelyn internally hoping there was no paparazzi this time. Luckily for them, there surprisingly wasn't, Brock looked at her as they started walking to the parking lot, reaching out his arm for her to grab.

She smiled, locking her arm with his and walking side by side with him to the car. She blushed the entire way there, but was slightly sad when she was forced to let go of his arm as he opened the passenger door for her to enter the car.

She got in buckling her seat belt as he did as well. "So, any sneak peaks of that song releasing tomorrow?" He asks, starting the car and giving her a smile.

"Nope, you'll have to hear it tomorrow like everyone else! You're no exception!" She held back her smile. "I see, and here I thought you were starting to like me" He joked, also keeping back a wide smile.

"Hm, no not yet!" She said playfully, the jokingness in her tone being obvious as he laughed, starting the car and beginning to drive off in the direction of his house.
