It was almost time, you went to the destined Wisteria Café and saw Tanjiro waiting for you.

You sat at the table Tanjiro ordered for the both of you.

Tanjiro was with a smile but he noticed you weren't smiling the same way you used to smile at him. He shook it off.

You noticed that he ordered desserts for the both of you. How nice of him.

"Ah! (Y/N)... there you are... you look stunning... Satoki, very very stunning..." Tanjiro praises you politely, you have to stop the urge to roll your eyes.

"Thank you very much, you look... handsome too... Tanjiro" you thanked and hesitated when returning the praise.

"Well, here's some ice cream for you." Tanjiro hands you a spoon of ice cream, he was about to feed you,

You open your mouth to eat the ice cream, after swallowing it, you take the spoon from his hands, you notice him flinching, he has never felt such cold and lifeless skin before. It almost hurts.

"What...? I thought you enjoyed it when I fed you Ice cream? Do you wish to—" You interrupted Tanjiro quickly;

"Let's break up." You said bluntly.

Tanjiro's eyes widened, his mouth parts in shock. For a solid 2 minutes, he remained that way before he finally spoke.

"What..? I think I misheard it... can you repeat what you said?" Tanjiro asked, denying your words.

"I said, let's break up." You repeated in annoyance and ate more ice cream.

"But I thought you loved me? You always say that to me!" Tanjiro almost yelled, he doesn't know why he's asking and reacting this way when he doesn't even care.

"I did but I know you don't feel the same... you love Maiki, you love that whore, more than you love me." You continued, "I promise... you both would do better as a couple. I fell out of love Tanjiro..." You harshly finished.

Not sugarcoating your words at all as your face remains stoic. Your eyes bore the ice cream and continued eating it.

You sigh and scoff. Honestly. Maybe you should just walk away and leave him?

You stood up, taking the ice cream with you and left without a word.

Tanjiro's POV;

I watch (Y/N) walking away without a word. Why was she so rude today? What did I do wrong?

I inhale a breath, my mind flashes back to Maika, I see her handing out her hand and holding mine softly, calming me down. I smile softly.

I quickly apologized to the crowd with my charming smile as I walked out of the café and went home.

Nezuko seemed to be worried about me, I quickly dismissed her kindly and went straight to my room.

I soon just laid in my bed after changing my clothes. Looking at the ceiling, I wished to go to sleep but something kept me awake...

"Let's break up.." Those three words kept repeating in my head. Echoing with shatters. (Y/N) must've been heartbroken when she found out I used her for my selfish desires... I didn't mean to in the first place.
