The trio had stopped to rest with the mephone for a water break, mostly because Fan wouldn't stop complaining.
They weren't far from the front of the castle.
They just needed a plan B, if Lightbulb really turned into this tyrant they've been hearing from mephone 1, their original plan of convincing her wasn't going to work well.
Lightbulb looks at the staff given to her. She has been up all night due to these intruders in the kingdom and the guard weren't helpful for jack shit!
Queen Lightbulb: what will this do again?
Mephone 5s: It's simple! The power of your electricity + the power of the memory gems from Mephones will give
the said power of the Mephones. Like for example, the most common trick a mephone can do it summon items! So try that.
Lightbulb points the staff to the ground and low and behold, a cookie spawned from the staff.
Lightbulb picks up the cookie and eats it whole.
Queen Lightbulb: That's perfect! Take the staff I'll let you know when I need it.
Lightbulb walks away, a smile on her face, she was going to have some much fun with that staff soon enough.
The trio had reached the entrance of the castle.
Mephone 1: If you're [caught] you will be sent to the dungeon, but I'll help you out.
Mephone 1 throws a walkie talkie at them.
Paintbrush: Why can't you give us a phone to call us?
Mephone 1: Because then they can track the [Signal], and know you're trying to escape. Plus I'll be giving [direction] if needed. Good luck you 3
Mephone 1 goes back to the tunnel. Leaving the trio alone. They had their plan and back up plan ready.
Test Tube: Ok remember, plan A is to convince her to come back, if that doesn't work plan B is to use brute force to bring her back.
Fan: That sounds great!
And so the trio made their way inside the castle.
Prototype walked into Lightbulb's room to see her still awake, on her table, clearly stressed out.
Prototype: Miss, you've been up all night. Maybe you should put the intruder case to rest right now.
Queen Lightbulb: Prototype, I wouldn't be up all night if those GUARDS knew how to do their job! Now they are god knows where, doing god knows what!
Prototype: Lightbulb, I'll handle it. That's the whole reason I'm here. Just get some rest already!
You know it's deep when Prototype uses Lightbulb's name only in a sentence
Lightbulb couldn't argue anymore and went to sleep on the table. Light snores were heard.
Prototype left the room and went to get some more guards for the castle.
The trio had made it half way across the castle. They entered a room thinking they can rest for a while. Only to find two mephones lifeless on the floor.
Fan: What do we do with them?
Paintbrush: Throw them out! They clearly are the mephones from entrance. Once we deal with them we can just rest.
Test Tube: If those are the mephones from earlier, that means Lightbulb could've done something to them
Fan: We should revive them.
The two look at Fan has if he was crazy. Which he was, I mean who would recommend reviving people who tried to stop you earlier.
Fan: -Hear me out. If Lightbulb did something to them. That means they most likely would want to go against her because of it. Even if they don't, they'd be easy to convince.
Test Tube: Fan your leap in logic might work. But how do we revive them?
Paintbrush: Use your taser. It should have enough to revive one. And let the other one do the rest
Test Tube pulls out her taser and shoot it at one of the mephones.
Mephone 3s grunts in pain. When he see the trio in front of him, he attacks Paintbrush but they stop it, holding him by the arms
Paintbrush: We just revived you, relax
Mephone 3s: I don't care if you revived me! The Queen would've done it herself soon enough anyway!
3s tries to escape paintbrush's grip.
Paintbrush: How?! She was the one who took your electricity right?
Mephone 3s: Yes, but as long as I'm not chopped into piece there is always a chance to be revived again!
Fan: You weren't gonna get revived again! Have you ever seen any other mephone get revived by her?
3s stopped struggling
Mephone 3s: Well no.. but there is always a chance!
Test Tube: There wasn't ever a chance at revive. The best chance you had was to be used as an experiment, or worst.
Mephone 3s: Yea well...
Paintbrush: Just help us defeat the "Queen" and we'll try to find all the mephone's in one piece and revive them too.
Mephone 3s: Fine, but just know I can only get you so far! If the queen knows I'm alive she'll make sure it's permanent next time.
Test Tube: Great, now please if you can revive your friend.
3s revived his friend and explained to them what they were gonna do with the trio.
And then rested. Readying for tomorrow.
