SOFIA
As I was fixing my hair, I heard my apartment door open.
I heard footsteps up my stairs then Xavier walked in.
"You look so beautiful." He said kissing my neck. "Thank you baby." I said and stood up.
I walked towards the mirror admiring my dress and Xavier came behind me.
"You look great." He said and I turned to face him.
I gave him a kiss on his lips and he kissed me back.
"Let's go." I said and we walked out.
We headed to the dinner place and once we arrived, we saw my parents.
"Hi mom, and dad." I said hugging them, "Hello angel." My father said. "Hi baby." My mom said hugging me.
"Hello Xavier." My father said shaking his hand, "Hello sir." He said greeting him back.
"Hey Xavier." My mom said hugging him, "Hello." He said hugging my mom back.
Me and Xavier then sat next to each other and then after a few minutes his family walked in.
I saw his parents and little sister.
After we all greeted each other it was kind of awkward and silent.
"Well mom, dad, this is Xavier parents." I said.
"Nice to meet you." My mother said, "Nice to meet you also." His parents said.
"Sorry I'm late." We heard Scott walked in saying.
"It's fine son." My dad said.
Scott and Xavier held eye contact for a while, and I grabbed Xavier hand softly and held it in my hand and he looked away from Scott.
"Hello I'm your waitress for today, how can I start you off with something to drink?"
"Champagne." Xavier parents said, "Wine." My parents said, "Water." The rest of said.
"Great, I'll be back with it." The waiter said walking away.
"So what do you guys do for a living?" Xavier parents asked mines.
"Well I'm a doctor." My father said, "And I'm a lawyer." My mom said.
"Oh that's good to hear, what about you?" She said asking Scott.
"I keep it to myself." He said and they looked a little disappointed.
"And you?" They said looking at me, "Why don't you tell us what you guys do?" My mom said to Xavier mom.
"Well we both own a very good business." She said and they nod.
"Hears your drinks." The waiter said giving it to us, "Now what can I get to eat for you guys?"

"Wonderful dinner."Xavier dad said, "Yeah, well it was nice meeting you guys." My father lied.
They then walked out. "Well we're gonna go now." Xavier said holding my hand and walked out.
"That was a little intense."
"Yeah, you think they will ever do anything like this again?" He asked and we laughed.
"Probably not." I said.
Few Weeks Later
"That's beautiful." I said as the wedding planner sketched what I wanted. "It's all done." She said with a smile.
