Prologue - 2014 Encounter

Location... Hawaii

Time... 20:30

Year... 2014

Y/N POV

It's my fourteenth birthday. And we are in Hawaii for it. I am watching my family talk excitedly while we look around the Island we went to. It is a very beautiful place at night.not that it isn't beautiful in the day buit it just looks better at night.

"Y/N!" I heard my sister shout from up the street a little "I found some knives you might like!" She shouted which intrigued me so I walked over. To her.

I walked over and looked at what she was pointing to. It was a ty[e pof knife I didn't know what though. It was something I could use in the wild. It was a foldable knife even though it was the length of a machete when unfolded. I liked it so I bought it from the man selling it and pocketed it in my long coat.

We continued to walk around the village. My parents had told me a couple minutes ago they would be back in the room. They were tired. I was now supervising my sister as we walked around the village.

We walked for some hours and then we went to the beach. The sand was warm and the water was nice to the touch even though it was still cold.  We played on the beach until I saw something dark of a a coupelk miles form the beach. It looked like it was moving very fast. I turned to my sister "Do you see that out in the sea?" I asked her "Yeah I see it." As I me and her watched the silhouette thing it grew to hundreds of feet in the sky. I was amazed as it still moved closer until I noticed the jets.

The jets blasted over head and fired at the thing but the thing seemed to be unn affected. I became conscious again and grabbed my sister's arm and we went the other way. Everything was seeming fine until I saw the wave the thing made flying towards land. I lifted my sister oto my back and ran onto the roof of a nearby building and watched.

The place was being destroyed, but I did care I was just glad I saved my sister. I sighed seeing all the people that became safe when I felt a tug on my shirt. Turned to where my sister was pointing and saw a massive creature.

In the way I can describe it it was a massive lizard looking humanoid creature. It stood at least 300 feet in the air, maybe 350. Its skin was like a human's skin; it looked mostly like a human too. For a massive creature if it was a female it had some curves. I then remembered a report about this creature from early. The creature was known as Godzilla.

I looked at the massive female lizard. I just looked at hger unable to move from shock not fear, shock. I'd only ever seen the Kaiju on the news never in person. They are much more terrifying in person. I felt my sister shaking so I gently stroked her hair and hugged her tightly. It worked and she stopped shaking and became comfortable but still scared.

I watched Godzilla closely not wanting to move or startle my sister. I kept a close eye on Godzilla not wanting to lose sight of her. She seemed to be looking around the city, probably looking for the M.U.T.O from earlier I had seen on the news.

As I watched her she turned to me our eyes locked. I looked deeply into her eyes, not looking away for what seemed like hours. I then scanned down her face little and noticed a smirk which caused me to learn to move and ran carrying my sister stilllook away and ran.

I knew I wouldn't get far compared to her size and while carrying my sister too. I had the advantage of obstacles known as buildings son my side though. I made it back to our apartment we were staying at and lost Godzilla.

After that we al sat in the apartment, only me seeing something that no one had ever seen on the roof of a building in Hawaii staring at Godzilla. Later we saw the news about the airport and San Francisco and we went home to the US. I still had no idea about what the smirk meant but I can sigh happily knowing I never had to know.
