A girl stands in front of the mirror.
Staring at her face
Ans she hates what she seesA girl stands in front of the mirror.
Gazing into her soul.
And she hates what she sees. She turns her back to the mirror
Her face in her hands
How she feels is something
She can't quite understandYesterday she looked in the mirror
Looking at her self with joyLast week she looked in
And felt that she wanted
To be a boy.She looks back into the mirror
Her heart full of self loathingLook, there's a scar
That you inflicted on yourselfLook at that face,
Quite ugly, don't you think? All she wants is for these thoughts to go away
But she knows that they are gonna stayShe scowls at the mirror
(What a hideous sight!)
And she stomps back to bedWhere she tosses and turns
She shoves her face into the pillows
And feels the tears burn.
