Chapter 18: Cherri's Approval

The following day, as Casper and Angel Dust basked in the afterglow of their daring rescue mission, they found themselves approached by Cherri Bomb, her signature grin stretched across her face.

"Well, well, well, lookie what the cat dragged in," Cherri greeted them with a playful wink. "Word on the street is you two caused quite the commotion at Valentino's last night."

Casper's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, while Angel Dust chuckled nervously beside him. "Yeah, we, uh, may have stirred things up a bit," Angel Dust admitted sheepishly.

Cherri's grin only widened at their response. "Stirred things up? You two practically turned the place upside down!" she exclaimed, her tone filled with admiration. "You certainly know how to make a monster like Valentino tick."

Casper couldn't help but feel a sense of pride swell within him at Cherri's words. He had been hesitant to involve himself in such dangerous affairs, but knowing that their actions had earned the approval of someone as formidable as Cherri Bomb filled him with a newfound sense of confidence.

"Thanks, Cherri," Casper replied, his voice filled with gratitude. "We just couldn't stand by and let Valentino continue to exploit demons like Angel."

Cherri nodded in understanding, her expression softening as she regarded the two demons before her. "Well, you've certainly made your mark, that's for sure," she remarked with a grin. "Just be careful, alright? Valentino won't take kindly to being outsmarted."

With a nod of agreement, Casper and Angel Dust bid farewell to Cherri, their hearts filled with determination to face whatever challenges lay ahead. Though they knew that their actions had earned them enemies, they also knew that as long as they had each other, they could weather any storm that came their way.
