After the intense showdown with Vox, Casper felt a wave of exhaustion wash over him. "I need a drink... of water, that is," he quipped with a weak chuckle, trying to lighten the mood as he made his way to the kitchenette of the Hazbin Hotel.
As he reached for his trusty water bottle, Casper's hand brushed against something unexpected – a magazine that had been left behind on the countertop. Curiosity piqued, he picked it up and realized it was the same magazine that Angel had been reading before his redemption, Sinful Sights.
Opening it up, Casper's eyes widened in surprise as he flipped through the pages. Amidst the risqué images and scandalous articles, he found something unexpected – little drawings of Angel and himself, depicted in various romantic scenarios.
In one drawing, they were holding hands beneath a starry sky. In another, they were dancing cheek to cheek at a lavish ball. And in yet another, they were standing at the altar, exchanging vows in front of their friends and loved ones.
But it wasn't just the drawings that caught Casper's attention – it was the little notes scrawled in pink marker beside them. "Forever yours," read one note, accompanied by a heart doodle. "To my one and only," read another, with a smiley face drawn beside it.
Tears pricked at the corners of Casper's eyes as he realized the depth of Angel's feelings for him, even before his redemption. "Angel..." he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
With a smile on his face and warmth in his heart, Casper tucked the magazine under his arm and made his way back to his room. And as he settled in for the night, surrounded by reminders of his love for Angel, he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, their bond would always remain strong and true.
