Girlfriend (PART TWOO)

Jaxx's POV:

I sigh as I walk down the school steps. I feel bad for Sora. He seemed really upset. I wonder why? (He's a little clueless)  I just hope that whatever is bothering him will go away soon. But on a completely different topic, Candi, some girl who's been obsessing over one of my friends came up to me today.

A few hours earlier (still Jaxxs POV)

I'm putting my stuff away in my locker, getting ready for my next class when Candi walks up to me. She smirks at me 

"You're the one that has a crush on the blue one, right?" She says. I look away flustered. "Me? Like Sora? Pfft! No way!" I laugh nervously. How did she know?? She raises an eyebrow "Yeah. Whatever. I seen him flirting with some guy and I heard him telling Charli that he's gonna ask him out" I make a face. Does he really? "Oh. Um.. okay? That's his business.. not mine." She laughs "I think his name was Light? Like... Charli's other boyfriend?" Sora doesn't like Light, right? Light is the last person Sora would like. But... he has been flirting with him a whole lot more. Maybe he does like Light. Whatever. It doesn't matter. It's not like I'm so inlove with him that he's always on my mind. It was barely anything! I barely like that short, annoyingly talkative, funny, cute, cyan boy. "Are you just gonna keep trying to convince yourself you don't like him or do you wanna hear how to win Scotts heart?" I roll my eyes "Scott?" I say "His name is Sora" 

"Yeah yeah whatever same thing" Candi smirks "But that proves that you do like him!" I scoff and look away "That doesn't prove anything" I say. It was true. I don't like Sora. He's my enemy. We argue all the time. There's nothing to it. Just pure rivalry. But it doesn't seem like it convinced her since she just raises her eyebrow at me. "I was gonna help you but if you seriously don't like him then suit yourself. I was gonna pretend to date you and make him jealous"

I scoff again "And why would I agree to that?" Candi smiles "because! Sora is slipping right through your fingers~ You know that. He used to give you all his attention but now who's getting it? Charli's other loser boyfriend! But guess what? If I pretend to date you then that means that he'll realize what he's missing out on" I think about it for a bit. That's some what true. Maybe if I do pretend to date her then he'll realize that he likes me! 

But wait.. a minute  "what's the catch?" I ask her. There's gotta be something that she wants from me. Unless.. she really is being nice? Nahh who am I kidding? It's Candi of all people. Candi just smiles at me "Nothing! No catch! Just wanna help a friend!" I cringe at the word 'friend'. Are we really friends? That doesn't sound right.. "Cut the bullshit, Candi. What's in it for you?" Candi sighs and rolls her eyes "Fine.. I wanna make Levi jealous. I want him to see how amazing and hot I am" Candi smiles. 

Eventually she somehow convinces me to go along with this. "Now shoo and go tell everyone that we're together. Specifically Alex, Sora, Levi, and Light" I look at her, confused "Alex?" Candi just rolls her eyes (Queen of rolling her eyes 🥰) "I know she's not much of a competition but I'm not taking risks" 

"Competition? Alex doesn't like Levi like that though" We end up arguing about it for awhile

And now back to the present

I walk home, thinking about what could've happened to Sora that would make him sound so sad? I don't think I've ever heard him sound so sad before. He wasn't even like joking or anything. Sora was actually genuinely sad. That just made me sad now. I pull out my phone and call Alex, I wanna tell her the truth but Candi specifically told me not to tell her. I sigh and just hang up instead before she could answer and I text the squad GC 

Farmer boi: I'm dating Candi

Squirrel 🐿️: WHAT???

The forgotten one 😔: Candi as in..

The forgotten one 😔: Crazy Candi??

Farmer boi: yes

Farmer boi deleted a message

Farmer boi: don't talk about my girlfriend that way

The forgotten one 😔: LMAOOO

Farmer boi: ?

I feel the blood rush to my face. Was it really that obvious? I don't respond, not knowing how to deny that.

I think about the texts between Sora and Light. Maybe Sora really does like Light. But that doesn't mean that Light likes him back, right? Light seems into Charli so there's no way he could like Sora... right?

I cringed at my texts. It felt weird thinking that I'm now fake dating Candi. I know in movies the two usually get together but not this time. Cuz like.. I'm into guys. Omg wowww what a shocker am I right?

Mother: well ig if your happy then thats all that matters
