His Smile... (Part1) [JK]

His Caramel Macchiato

{MinJi's POV}

I wake up to hear a loud ringing noise near the bed. I look to my left and shut off the alarm clock.

"Miss Choi, Master Jungkook has asked of us to prepare your school uniform for today", the maid says as she rests my uniform on the edge of the bed.

"Master Jungkook has also required us to prepare a new back pack for you as well and to change your gauze, band aids, and etc", the maid says again as she walks over to the side of the bed. She helps me up and undresses me while switching out the old medication for new, the old gauze/band aids for clean ones, and helps put my make up on to cover my bruises and cuts. She's about to help me put on my uniform when I stop her.

"Thank you for all your help, but I can do this myself", I say gently. She smiles, bows, and leaves as she says, "as you wish, Miss Choi."

"Oh and please, call me just Choi or MinJi" I say to her. She stops, turns around, and bows as she takes her leave once again. I sigh and put on my school uniform and pick up my new back pack from the floor.

I rush down the staircase to see Jungkooks mom, standing next to the stairs as if she was waiting for someone.

"Oh! There you are! I'm glad to see you early in the morning! I've prepared breakfast for you. I hope you don't mind that you and I will be eating together because Jeon already left for school", she says with a cheerful smile. I fake smile back as she leads me through the doorway.

Jungkook left already? I didn't think he left for school that early.

We make our way through the doorway and I gaze at the spacious kitchen.

Wow, this place is huge...

She sits down next to the head of the table and I sit across from her.

I look down at my plate to see French toast with strawberries, eggs and bacon surrounding the toast, and a glass of milk on the side.

"I know it's not a lot right now, but I still need to go grocery shopping", Jungkooks mom says as she takes a bite of her French toast.

"No not at all! In fact it's a lot of food to me. Thank you for the meal", I say with a smile as I dig into the wonderful food.

Everything. Tastes. Amazing!!

I finish eating my food and drink my glass of milk as Jungkooks mom cleans the table.

"Thanks again! I'll take my leave now!" I say as I get up from the table.

"Oh! Choi, dear. Before you go, is something wrong with Jungkook? He seemed a little upset or weird this morning", she says as she tilts her head in a confused manner.

I shake my head and shrug my shoulders.

I wonder what's wrong with Jungkook??

I finally make it to the school as I hear a familiar voice towards the gate. I walk through the gate and look around to see Jungkook bowing deeply to the girl he was with yesterday. I walk a little closer to hear what's going on.

"I'm sorry for everything I've done to you that could possibly have hurt you. In all honesty, I was using you as a play toy to entertain me when I was bored. I'm sorry for using you and for hurting you like this... I don't think we should be together anymore. You're a very nice girl and I know you're going to hate me and I know my apology isn't going to heal your broken heart, but I do hope that someday you'll find a man that's worthy of your heart. It's not you, it's me. I just don't want to have to keep dating someone that I don't love or like. I'm sorry and I wish the best for you", Jungkook says as he bows deeply to her. An entire crowd surrounds them and watches as Jungkook continues to bow to the girl. Tears roll down her cheeks as she pours her cup of coffee over Jungkooks head. Everyone gasps in shock, but Jungkook continues to keep his head bowed.
