His Smile... (Part1) [JK]

Addictive & Sweet Piano Melody

{MinJi's POV}

It's been two days since I've been discharged from the hospital.

I'm sitting in my room, my actual room, not the room at Jungkooks house.

I gulp at the thought of Jungkook and I shake my head furiously.

No, I shouldn't think about someone like him. I need to take my mind off of things.

I glance at my guitar and remember Vernon giving it to me.

*flash*

"Jungkook wanted me to give this to you. He said you left it at his house", Vernon says as he hands me my guitar. I smile slightly and hug my guitar.

"Tell him... I said thanks for giving me my guitar", I say and sit down on my bed while still holding my precious guitar in my hands.

I'm still thankful to Jungkook... Because if he wasn't there, I would've never gotten my guitar back..

*flash*

I sigh and take the guitar and walk out of my room.

"MinJi? Where are you going?" My dad asks as I slip on my shoes that were in front of the doorway.

"To the park to play. Need anything?"

He shakes his head and watches me leave through the front door.

The sun is already setting as I walk down the sidewalk, clutching my guitar that's in its guitar case on my right side.

Maybe if I play something, I can relax a little bit.

Maybe..

The sun almost completely sets as I sit down on a bench at the park. People are starting to leave the park as the sun slowly starts to disappear.

I pull out my guitar from the case and I strum the familiar strings.

Just the sound my guitar makes as I strum relaxes me little by little.

That same sweet melody plays through my mind and I start to play some of it on my guitar.

I don't know why, but this sweet melody is always in my head for some reason... And it won't leave.

People start to gather around me as i play that same piano melody in my head onto my guitar.

I wonder where I got that melody from..

I finish playing the song and I look around to see a bunch of people applauding me. I smile and I put my guitar in my guitar case.

I'm glad I played my guitar. I feel like some of my burden has been lifted from my shoulders.

Even though the problem is still there.

Everyone starts to leave as I stand up from the bench. I start to make my way back home through the now dark park.

Just a few more days... And then I'll be leaving South Korea.

I'll call MiCha and Taehyung over tomorrow to hang out a little bit and to give them my last goodbyes before I leave.

As I continue to walk home, I pull out my cell phone and call up MiCha.

After a couple rings, she answers her phone and I get straight to the point.

"Hey MiCha. Let's hang out tomorrow before I leave to America", I say and she stays silent on the other side.

"... You're leaving?" She asks and I nod my head, forgetting that she can't see me.

"Yea, I am. So want to hang out tomorrow with me? Taehyung might come too", I say and she accepts.

"Alright, see you tomorrow at my house?" I say to her and she says she'll be at my house at 2 in the afternoon. We say our goodbyes and I hang up. I scroll through my contacts and find Taehyungs number.

I click the call button and he picks up after a couple rings.

"MinJi?" He says and I get straight to the point once again.

"Hey Taehyung. I wanted to know if you can come over tomorrow-"

"Can't", he says and interrupts me.

"Oh uh okay, how about-"

"Sorry MinJi. I'm going to be busy for the next three days", he says and I sigh.

But I'm leaving in three days...

"Oh um, okay. Then never mind. I'll talk to you later.." I say as I trail off.

"Mkay, Bye MinJi. Stay safe!" He says and disconnects the call as I walk up towards my house.

Well... I'll just text him goodbye I guess..

I walk up my front porch and open my front door.

"I'm home!" I yell as I enter my house and close the front door behind me.

A silence answers me and I flick on the living rooms lights as I toss my shoes at the entryway.

"Appa-" I'm cut off when I hear a slight snore coming from the living room couch. I chuckle as I walk towards the couch and place the spare blanket that we keep on the back of the couch and place it over my fathers sleeping body.

I kiss my father lightly on his head as I tuck the blanket in so that he's nice and snug.

I smile slightly and tip toe up the stairs as I carry my guitar case with me. I finally make it to my room and close the door behind me. I put my guitar case in the corner of my room and take out a tank top and a pair of shorts out of my dresser. I change my clothes into my pajamas and I plug my phone into the charger. My phone dings and I look over to see that I got a text message from Vernon and Taehyung at the same time. I open my phone and look at Vernons text message first:

Vernon- Night sleepy head! Don't forget to pack your clothes and get ready. We're leaving in three days! :)

Vernon- goodnight! Sweet dreams!

I smile and reply back to Vernons text with a "I know, thanks Vernon. Night, sweet dreams to you too."

I exit out of Vernons texts and go into Taehyungs and read:

Taehyung- hey MinJi. Sorry about not being able to hang out. I'll make it up to you soon!

Taehyung- anyways.. night night don't let the bed buggies bite! >:P hehe

I smile at his text messages and tell him that it's fine because he already has plans. I wish him a goodnight sleep and close my phone. I climb into bed and sigh deeply.

Just three more days.... And then I'll be gone...

A/N: okay I'm SOOO sorry that these chapters are short!! I haven't had time to write so yeaaaa

I think the next chapter or the one after the next one is going to be the end!! (Most likely unless I get a sudden inspiration or if I just remembered something that I forgot to write about). But anyways I know this chapter probably has A LOT of errors but it's because I wrote this in under 30 minutes believe it or not XD

Don't hate or discriminate bruh ;P

Plus it's like 1 in the morning where I am sooo yeaaaa xD

I'll probably fix all the mistakes in this chapter later when I'm not as tired haha xP

I'm sorry that this chapter seems so rushed!! I know it probably doesn't flow as well as my others but like I said, this was written in under 30 minutes (I think like 15 or 20 minutes or something)

Anyways I need recommendations for my next fanfic! Who should I write about? What should the plot be? Msg me or comment!!! :) it's really appreciated <3
