Anh's (pronounced AHN's) POV

"Tam! Linh! Anh! Come here right now!" my mother shouted.

"Anh! You'll make us late! Come here now." ordered our father.

Ending my hail with my best friend Marella Redek, I channeled strength into my legs and feet and ran up the stairs to the Leapmaster 1,000. As I finally reached there, my legs burned. I hoped wherever we were going had benches.

Then my mother called to the Leapmaster, "Atlantis!" and the chandelier spun and the crystal lowered. My eyes widend

"Tell me we're not going to Atlantis. If Linh doesn't have to go I'll never ruin your precious vases." I attempted to negotiate, earning a glare from my father.

Unfortunately, he didn't fall for it. If he did, I would ruin the paintings.

"We will all be going," stated my father as he dragged us into the beam of light created by the crystal.

— a few seconds later —

I stared at the whirlpool in dread. Then I joined hands with Tam and Linh and jumped into the whirlpool, with anticipation that something would go very, very, wrong.
