"
Dear Diary...my mother's illness i getting worse, ever since my sister got married and my father is getting bussier looking for job and for someone who will marry me, I was left behind to run the flower shop."
Dolores sighed in frustration as she put down the pen to the counter top next to her book.
She leans to the counter and leaned her elbow as she dropped her head to her hands. Oh mother, what should I do? She thought as she holds back her tears.
The door swung open by a noble man in a suit. Dolores raised her head and quickly wiped her tears. "Buenos dias, Dolores--" Anthony said, he observes her actions before he spoke. "You look as gloomy as the sky, is everything alright?"
"Uhm yes, dont worry about me..." Dolores said as she approached her friend. "Is there anything you want? flowers?"
Anthony could see her sadness in her eyes. "Is this still about your mother?"
Dolores nodded. "Did you atlest heard your father's word about the marrage?"
"Im not going to marry---unless I finished my education" Dolores anounced.
Anthony was taken back by her words, he was about to talk further but he decided to shut his mouth for good. "Understandable... I like your inttention, I hope there's more woman like you out there."
Dolores said nothing.
The shop was quite for seconds as Anthony observes her actions. He opened his mouth to speak but the door swung opem interrupting him.
A tall noble man entered the shop, he lowered his hat as well as his head as he greeted Dolores. He had a handsome face that even Dolores was taken by his beauty. His wearing an elegant blazers just like Anthony, but his are more blacker suits than Anthony. His hair is black, his eyes are brown...and his lips are pinkish pink, not too pink--its more like healthy lips than Dolores.
"Good morning sir, is there anyting I could get for you?" Dolores asked cheerfully as she greeted the customer.
Anthony stepped aside to let the customer had a conversation without interrupting them.
"Well you see that carage over there?" The male spoke, pointing the black carage from the outside of the window. "There's a grumpy lady that thinks Im in to her and I dont know how to lift her emotion...I would like you to pick a flower on your own since your a woman and I dont get the womans taste about this part."
Anthony bit his tounge as he hold back his chuuckle, he turned away from the customer and leaned his elbow to the counter while looking around the shop. Dolores stares to Anthony with slight of irretation before she look to the costumer with a smile giving a understanding nod as she understands his situation.
"Lilies and tulips always worked.." Dolores said as she walked to the counter filled with flowers. She picked some flowers and cover it with mint green wrapper creating a bouqute of flowers, she also put some small daisy, dandelions and daffodiles making a nostalgic flowers and handed it to the customer.
"This should work..." said Dolores. The man smiled as he takes the flower. He looked to the flower nods in agrement.
"Good choice..." He said. He took a big amount of cash on his blazer and handed over to her. "Extra cash for your extra service...you had a good taste on flowers, now I know where I can find such a beautiful flowers, I dont have to worry to how I could find you."
"May I ask what's your name?" he asked.
"You can call me Dolores"
"Dolores..." he hummed and smiles to her making Anthony irretated. "Well done Dolores, I'm Vincent..I hope this is not the last time we meet again" Vincent took her hand and kissed the back of her hand making Dolores speechless and Anthony being more irretated.
As he let go of her hand, the door opened again. "Sir, Miss Elizabeth is waiting for you on the carage he wanted you to hurry up" he said in respecfull manner as he bowed to him when Vincent turned to him.
Vincent nods in understanding as he left the shop, he turned back to her and smiled before he finally git in to the carage.
Dolores spaced out for a second and Anthony snapped her out. She never felt this butterflies for a long time now. Could it be she is now inloved?
