IT had been a year since Nettie and Jake met, and this then it has been beautiful for the pair, going on many dates together, though they never called it that, whether it was a gig, shopping, helping with songs or just lounging around doing nothing, it was all perfect and enjoyable for the two, melting into each others presence.
Jake was questioning their friendship lately as he has started to realise that his feelings aren't solely platonic, if they were at all, that is and so was Nettie, the pair both dreaming of being with each other but never ever making a move.

Finding songs you like that make you think of someone was a beautiful and annoying, but a song with the person name as the title was completely different, especially when the lyric describes how you feel.

Listening to this beautiful song, sung about this beautiful girl by a beautiful band, did more than he thought it would. Butterflies erupting in his stomach unaware that he forgot he texted Nettie to come over before he got into the song.

"that's me !" Jakes eyes shot to his front door, the girl walking in just as the final word of the song is said, a beaming smile on her face, she walks over and sits next to Jake.
"my dentist said that I remind her of this song too, she loves type o negative"

Jake looks at the girl in an obvious 'I want to kiss you right now' look, but he fights back his urges.
"yeah, I uh, love my friends a lot" this hurt him to say but Nettie isn't having it.
"oh yeah? friends? what love song reminds you of johnnie?" He is silent, her having a smirk on her face, "I'm kidding dude, chillax"
Jake and Nettie drive to his local target to meet up with johnnie, who was finally back in Los Angeles after being back home in San Jose for 3 months, he asked them to join him in filming a video for his YouTube channel which he had around 2 mil on, most unactive, sadly, since most people left their emo phase many years ago.
"hi guys its Johnnie! today I'm here with Jake and Nettie, my friends down in LA and today were going to be being random shit from target." Johnnie then went on about how his fans were really going to like them both considering their appearance and the fact Netties name was also a gothic name to most, even if the boys had no idea her name was actually, Henrietta, never wanting to explain the story to them.
Johnnie said he was staying in LA for two weeks, which led Jake to kindly offer his spare room to him, about a week in, Johnnie called Nettie to come over to discuss the video they had posted. Once the three were together, he explained that the video got a million views, which surprised him because he had fell of years ago, he said that the comments were full of nice remarks to the threes dynamic and style and many towards Netties name and that he was extremely thankful of the two because people finally seeing his channel again made his appreciate his hobby more than he was.
