In a quiet and gloomy class , the atmosphere became tense without the sound of laughter . A sign indicating Class 3-E was plastered on the edge of the classroom door .
Several students in the class were in a serious and tense state ; no conversation or banter was heard . Their faces looked gloomy as they gazed down at their desks .
A student clapped his hands to dispel the tension he felt . Blue clouds , like a calm sea , and fluffy clouds resembling sugar candy cotton , accompanied a strong sound of wind , suggesting something or someone was flying at high speed .
At the back of the classroom, several papers bearing the word 'murder' lay scattered . Something or someone landed majestically in front of the deserted classroom area , causing a strong foggy wind .
Kayano , a short girl with light green hair , always styled with a unique cat ear-style pigtail and hazel eyes , looked out the window with a blank expression to see what was happening .
Azure eyes gaze forward with a sharpness reminiscent of a tiger awaiting its prey . Meanwhile , something or someone moves slowly in the classroom corridor , causing a student to shudder as they are not pleased with the unsettling atmosphere .
A yellow tentacle placed the attendance book on the table with a pap sound.
" Now then , Let's get started . Student on duty , on your command "
Said a giant yellow octopus with a big smile on his face . Its tentacles move both independently and autonomously .
" S..Stand up ! "
A young boy with blue hair declared . The students upon hearing him , promptly stood up straight , pointing the guns they held in their hands toward the enormous yellow octopus .
" Attention .. "
Nagisa, the boy with blue hair, spoke. The class fell momentarily silent as everyone focused on awaiting the next instruction from him.
" .. bow ! "
Upon hearing the next command , a loud gunshot echoed in the classroom as a students fired their gun with intensity , aiming squarely at the focused target-the giant yellow octopus .
The rifle bullet sped toward the octopus , but to everyone's surprise , the agile creature swiftly evaded the oncoming shot .
" Good morning . Fire all you like ; I'll just be taking attendance . Isogai ? " the octopus calmly remarked .
" Here ! " responded Isogai in a weak tone . " I'm sorry. You'll have to speak up with all this gunfire ," said the yellow octopus, still skillfully dodging bullets .
" Here ! "
Isogai raised his voice slightly above the sound of gunshots to ensure his response reached the octopus .
