It was a new day at Kunugigaoka Junior High School and Class 3E's building buzzed with the energy of students taking their seats . Koro Sensei stood at the front of the class a distinctive figure against the morning light . The familiar chime of the school bells marked the beginning of another day .
" Now then , class " Koro Sensei announced , voice smooth and cheerful , " shall we begin ? "
" Begin what ? " someone muttered .
In an instant , he vanished . A blur of yellow and white streaked across the room Mach 20 wind rushing past the students' faces as papers fluttered like startled birds . Dozens of Koro Sensei afterimages filled the room , each holding a pointer or chalk , moving in a dizzying spiral of motion .
" Midterm time has rolled around ! " his voices overlapped in perfect sync .
" Yes , that's right " another echoed or perhaps it was the same one .
" And that's why this period..."
The clones multiplied until the air itself seemed to shimmer , every version of Koro Sensei speaking about a different subject - English , Math , Science , History - the cacophony forming an almost musical rhythm .
"...will be spent in a high-speed study session ! "
The class gasped collectively . Even for them , this was new .
He appeared at every desk in a blink guiding , explaining , scribbling equations faster than human eyes could follow .
[Your name] , seated at the back of the class , simply rested her chin on her hand , unimpressed by the chaos . Her [colour] hair caught the morning light as she raised an eyebrow , watching him multiply yet again .
" Sir " she called , her tone a mix of curiosity and dry humor , " what does the question mark on your headband mean ? "
Koro Sensei halted mid-zip and turned toward her , the fabric around his round head indeed marked with a bold "?". His grin widened .
" Ah , that " he said proudly , " symbolizes that I don't know which subject you're struggling with... because you've mastered them all ! "
A few of the students groaned . Karma rolled his eyes . Terasaka , meanwhile , leaned back with a sigh , hand propping up his cheek .
" Ridiculous " he muttered . " He even switches headbands for each subject "
Before he could blink , Koro Sensei materialized in front of him now wearing a Naruto headband , complete with the Hidden Leaf symbol shining on his brow .
