With Koro Sensei visibly weakened after failing to solve the first problem , Principal Asano’s satisfaction was clear . He wore a small self-assured smile , his lilac eyes gleaming with a calm certainty as if savoring his favorite show—a carefully orchestrated spectacle of his own making . To him , this was the pinnacle of control and superiority , watching Koro Sensei grapple with a challenge designed specifically to wear him down .

Maintaining his confident stance , Principal Asano encouraged Koro Sensei to proceed with the next three problems , his voice smooth and unhurried . He leaned slightly against the doorframe , relishing the scene with an almost theatrical detachment . Every detail , every outcome seemed to fall perfectly into place as he observed Koro Sensei struggle , convinced that his careful planning would lead to his long-awaited victory .
Koro Sensei , still dripping and half-destroyed , stood before the second textbook , his usual vibrant appearance now faded and broken . The atmosphere around him grew heavier and the Class E students peering anxiously from the windows held their breaths , their faces painted with worry and silent hope .
As he extended a tentacle , placing it delicately on the cover of the second book , he moved with a sudden seamless fluidity . In a blink , the page flipped open , his eyes scanned the problem and his tentacle closed the book just as quickly—without a single misstep or explosion . The classroom stilled in shock .
" Okay , opened , solved and closed ! I more or less remember which questions are on which page in this particular series of test books . Math was the only challenge . I'd lent that one out to a student for so long that I'd forgotten "
Outside the door , Principal Asano’s calm façade cracked , his lilac eyes widening in sheer disbelief . The outcome was unexpected , catching him off guard . He hadn’t anticipated that Koro Sensei , weakened and damaged , could handle this problem with such swift precision .

Her reaction caught the attention of her classmates .
