The new girl

Chapter 2

It was a normal Sunday and I was just going out to meet Ren and Jujin. We where going to watch some movies and just hang out.
I grabbed my coat and my purse as I was on the way out. As I opened the door to walk out I saw him. As usual with a girl, kissing her, more like changing saliva with each other... It's been almost 5 weeks. He still hasn't stopped playing with every girl possible yet...
Gross...
I shut the door and walk out the building. I was going to meet Ren and Jujin by the café outside campus. The star café. Where almost everyone was, like all the time. They had the most delicious food and pastries. I love that place.I walked on the sidewalk, on my way to The star café, with my headphones on listening to music. To be more specific, Big Bang I like 2 party. When I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders. I panic and start hitting the person with my purse.
"Yah! Yah! Stop! It's me! Vernon!" The person laughed out. I open my eyes and noticed that the person was telling the truth, it was Vernon. I smiled embarrassed at him as I bowed several times to say I was sorry.
"It's fine!" He laughed out and his laugh made me smile.
"So, where are you going?" He asked as he slung his arm around my shoulder. I smiled as I answered "The star café". He smiled as he started to walk, which I had to do too if I didn't want to fall. "
The star café huh?" I nod as we walked there, just the two of us in the gray weather. "May if I hang with? I'm basically your best friend now, right?" I started to laugh, he may have become my friend quick, even though he almost broke my hand... But best friends? I don't really know about that...
"I don't know? Are we?" I laughed as we walked up on the road to the café.
"Why shouldn't we? I mean, we have to have some more relationship than just friends. I mean look at me! You can't just be my friend you are my best buddy!" He laughed out. I was happy he saw me like that, but kind of sad at the same time. I stopped, making him stop too.
"Then should we pinky promise on be best friends?" I asked, I knew it was lame, we where in collage... But still it's cute.
"Sure~" Vernon laughed as he took my hand.
"Now we're best friends!~" He smiled at me with so much warmth that the cold weather seemed hotter.

"Kaisa! What took you long?" Ren asked as we got inside the café. He shut up when he saw Vernon. "What's he's doing here?" He asked right after. I shot him a glare.
"Hey! He's my friend! Behave. And to answer your question; I had trouble to get out when they blocked the door..." I faked a gag reflex.
"Oh, your roommate can't even wait until the night until getting inside someones pants, huh?" Jujin asked, she was just asking, not interested.
"Oh, now I know who your roommate is! Jihoon! Right?" Vernon said out loud making all the girls in the café look at us.
"Keep it down, will ya?" I asked as I pulled him down to his seat again.
"I was right! I wonder why he hasn't told me, or anyone yet who was his roommate. I totally got it now when you commented that, thanks Jujin~" He smiled at her, who just looked away. She was really not interested in anyone...

"Excuse me, may I take your order?" The waitress got to our table. I saw her eyes go from Vernon to Ren, the attractive guys here. Oh no waitress, it's just the two of them here, don't mind me and Jujin... "I'll take a chocolate shake, thank you." Vernon smiled at the girl and I swear, she almost lost her balance.
"I'll take the vanilla shake..." I said to keep he in the living world.
"Strawberry for me, and Jujin, you?" Ren asked as he looked at her. She sat there chewing her gum, not caring for anything in the world.
"Vanilla..." She said as she shot the waitress a cold stare, or just a normal stare if you know her like we do. But I don't think the waitress knows her like we do... I think she took it the wrong way...
"Okay... Nothing more?" She nervously smiled as she asked before leaving.

"So, what movie are we going to watch?" I asked as we sat there drinking our shakes.
"I don't know, what about a scary movie?" Jujin said as she leaned back against the backrest on the chair.
"Movie? You gonna watch a movie after this?" Vernon asked as he looked at me with the biggest childish smile I've ever seen on him.
"Yeah." Ren answered for me as he looked at Vernon with stern eyes. "What you wanna see with us? Or do you just wanna be with Kaisa?"
"Yah! Don't be rude!" I said as I slapped Ren's arm. He shrieked by the small slap. I didn't hit him that hard actually...
"It's fine. I just wanted to hang out with all of you. But of course mostly be with Kaisa." Vernon smiled as he looked at me. I smiled back and we both broke out in laughter.
"You have something going on?" Jujin asked me and I laughed more.
"What, no. He's my best friend." I dried my fake tears. The truth was sad...
"Best friend?" Ren asked somewhat sad.
"I have 3 best friends. Jujin, Vernon and you!" I said in a big smile. It's true, they're all my best friends. I can't just have one.
