"Hmm, so what do you think?" asked an excited Aurora. "Well it depends on what your trying to do Aurora." Maleficent said looking around the castle's ballroom curiously. "It's for a ball Godmother." "Another ball beastie, didn't you have one a few weeks ago?" Maleficent asked. "Yees, but this one is different. It's special." Aurora said smiling. "Aurora are you hiding something from me?" Maleficent asked looking at her suspiciously. "Noo, I'm just asking a question." Aurora said hesitantly. Maleficent raised an eyebrow and sighed. "So what I'm trying to do is make the decorations look like the Moors with a hint of royalty in it. The lighting well be made by my aunties. They said they could make floating lights. It's just wonderful." Aurora continued talking about the ball till Diaval interrupted them. "There you two are, I've been looking everywhere for you." He said walking up to them. He stopped dead in his tracks and looked around. "Um, is there going to be another ball?" He asked curiously. "Yes, and you two are invited." Aurora said smiling. Maleficent sighed and looked towards Diaval. "Aurora maybe you should take a break. Why don't we go to the garden?" Diaval suggested. "Oh of course I'd love too." said Aurora with a bright smile. "Your highness, Philip wishes to see you when your done with the decorations. He says it's important." One of the butlers said. Aurora sighed with a frown. "A queen's job never ends huh." "It's ok beastie, we'll be waiting outside." Maleficent said. Aurora smiled, hugged her godparents and left the room with a smile. "So, shall we?" Diaval asked sticking his arm out for Maleficent to grab. Maleficent smiled taking his arm and laying her head on his shoulder, mindful of her horns. So in the garden they waited for their goddaughter, enjoying the scenery of flowers of many colors. They sat on a small rock bench quietly watching a group of butterflies land on flowers. Maleficent still had her head laid on Diaval's shoulder, she was about to speak when she felt a wave a nausea hit her. Maleficent sat up, she started to breathe heavily while she clutched the bench. "Mal, are you alright?" Diaval asked worriedly. Maleficent stood up and walked to the edge of a bush, Diaval right behind her. The sound of vomit and coughing hit his ears. Robbing her back he asked again. "I don't know Diaval, that came out of nowhere, mayeb I-" she was interrupted by another wave of nausea. "I'll call a doctor. Just sit down and breathe." Diaval said running into the castle. A few minutes later he showed up with a doctor. "Ok what seems to be the problem here?" He asked. "She um, she had nausea." Diaval said. "Ok, your highness with your permission I would like to check to see if I can see what the problem is." Said the doctor. Maleficent looked up at him, she was about to say no when Diaval interrupted her. "I'm right here Mal, you don't need to worry." He said looking into her eyes and grabbing her hand, giving her a smile. Maleficent let out a breathe that she didn't even know she was holding. "Yes, you may." The doctor nodded grabbing a tool that was wrapped around his neck. "This is to check your heartbeat, we call it a stethoscope." Maleficent nodded tensing when he pressed the object above her heart. "Everything seems ok to...wait." He looked up at Maleficent, gesturing to her stomach. "May I?" he asked. Maleficent nodded, Diaval watching his every move. The doctor moved the stethoscope down to her stomach. His eyes widened and smiled up at both Maleficent and Diaval. "What is it, what, did find something?" Diaval asked worriedly. "Well I wouldn't say something, but more like someone." The doctor said smiling. Maleficent gasped and looked towards Diaval who was smiling the biggest smile. He looked at Maleficent who had a surprised/worried/happy look on her face. "I'll take my leave then if there's nothing else you need." The doctor said. "Oh no thank you doctor." Diaval said smiling and shaking the doctor's hand. "Well then, congratulations mom and dad." he said leaving and disappearing into the castle. Diaval looked down at Maleficent who was still shocked but had a smile on her face. He kneeled down infront of her resting his hands on her shoulders. Maleficent looked into his eyes smiling. She carresed his cheeks laughing and giving him lingering kisses. Diaval laughed picking her up bridal style and spinning her. He didn't even notice the extra wait her wings gave her. He put her down after a while giving her small kisses. "Now what do we do, this is all new too much for my little raven self?" he said smiling. "We'll worry about that later. Right now I just want to stay in this moment." Maleficent said wrapping her arms around his neck. "Well in that case that means I can kiss you more." Diaval said smiling and nuzzling their noses together. They laughed and smiled and kissed happily ever after. Well for today anyways.
