Two weeks after the celebration Maleficent and Diaval got married in the Moors. Every fairy and creature were there to see the happy couple wed. They threw flowers and cheered and sang all day. It was the happiest day in the Moors. Diaval did a dance around Maleficent in his raven form while she sat on a rock smiling and laughing. After that they went flying together. Maleficent showed him how faerys danced in the sky and Diaval loved every second of it. But that was 3 months ago. Maleficent was 3 months pregnant and had to eat more and more everyday. Diaval would even ask Aurora for food. Aurora would visit almost every week always smiling and bieng happy and excited to know that a knew member of the family is on his or her way. Today was different though, Diaval went out to get food but hasn't returned in well over an hour. Maleficent started to worry, afraid something happened to her precious pretty bird. She had a feeling something bad must've happened. She waited a few more mintues before calling Balthazar over to search for him. After a while he showed up carrying an injured and bleeding Diaval. "Oh my God, Diaval! What happened?!" she asked him. "I got ambushed by some humans." he said coughing. "They stabbed me with an arrow head. I blacked out before I could even make it across the border line." he groaned. "Put him down Balthazar." Maleficent said. Balthazar set him on the ground carefully. Maleficent checked the area where Diaval got stabbed. "Did you take it out?" she asked Diaval worriedly. "No, its stuck." he said painfully. "Let me try." Maleficent said. "No! It's iron." Diaval yelled. Maleficent widened her eyes. Balthazar stepped in saying to call Aurora. Maleficent thought about quickly and sent a sign with her magic that shot to the sky. After what seemed like forever Aurora appeared with a doctor. "What happened." she asked. "A couple of humans." Maleficent said angrily. Aurora was shocked that someone disobeyed her rule. "They'll be punished for this Godmother. I promise you that." she said laying her hand on Maleficent's shoulder. "I don't mean to interrupt, but I'm dieng over here." Diaval said, pain clearly sounding through his voice. Aurora called the doctor over helping whenever she could. "Godmother you should rest until we're done." Aurora said. "No, not till Diaval is healed." Maleficent argued. "Your excellency the arrow head is dug in dip, it's going to take a while to get it out." the doctor said. Maleficent looked at Diaval. "You should rest Mal, I'll be fine." he said smiling, she clearly saw that he was trying to hold in the pain. Maleficent sighed, "Alright, I'll lay down but I won't sleep until your healed." she finished walking towards the tree. "Balthazar," Diaval called, "make sure she rests, she needs it. And...get her something...to eat." he groaned. Balthazar nooded and walked towards the tree. "Ok, this is going to be painful so you might want to bite down on this stick." The doctor said giving Diaval the stick he was holding. Aurora grabbed one of Diaval's hands reassuring him that everything was gonna be alright. "Ok, Imma go slow and steady and dig my way down to were the arrow is penetrated." the doctor said starting to open his wound little by little." Maleficent could hear Diaval's pain, she tried to climb down the tree but Balthazar kept stopping her. After an hour Aurora called her down and she appeared faster than you could blink. She used her magic to close and heal the wound. She caressed Diaval's cheek smiling down at him. "This is the arrow head, i think it's from another kingdom. It has different markings." the doctor said. "I'll take care of it Godmother, you two just rest." Aurora said grabbing the arrow head with with the napkin the doctor had. They both left back to the kingdom. Maleficent kept looking at Diaval tears forming in her eyes. Diaval sat up and brung their heads together, Maleficent's hand falling to his chest. "I'm ok, it was just a scratch." Maleficent pulled back looking at him, "I hate bieng usless. And it wasn't just a scratch you could've died." She said seriously. Diaval smiled and gave her a tender kiss. "Did you eat?" he asked. Maleficent couldn't resist but to smile, no matter what condition Diaval was in he would always worry about her well bieng. "Yes, Balthazar forced me." she said playing with a piece of Diaval's hair. Diaval chuckled, "Good." he said kissing her cheek. "Now let's go take a bath. I've been dieng to get you alone all day." he whispered the last words in her ear. Maleficent smiled, "Diaval, there's a child with us." she said. They chuckled and headed of to the lake. "You go in, I'll be a second." Maleficent told Diaval who was taking his shirt off. He nodded and got in the water making a bird like sound. "It's cold." he said. Maleficent laughed, "Don't worry I won't be long." she said walking behind a rock. Diaval waited staring at the water. His body said man but his reflection said bird. He was a man-bird. He heard Maleficent walking and turned around taking her in. He smiled seeing the bulge on her stomach. When she got closer his hands went directly to her stomach. Maleficent used her magic to warm the water and wrapped her arms around Diaval's neck. "I don't recall you getting more beautiful." Diaval said. Maleficent chuckled, "Flatterer." Diaval backed away smiling. "What are you doing?" Maleficent asked curiously. "Nothing, just this." Diaval splashed water at Maleficent who was gaping at him. Diaval started laughing until he saw a big wave come over him. He came out from under the water with a laughing Maleficent. "That's not fair." he said. "You started it." Maleficent said laughing. Diaval started to laugh and soon they headed of to the tree happily laughing all day long.
