The girls all ran to Molly, all trying to make her feel as welcome as possible.
"Hi, babes," Belva grinned, bringing the blonde girl into a hug. "I'm Belva, it's so lovely to meet you."
"Molly," the girl replied, returning the hug with a smile. "It's nice to meet you, too."
The girls all congregated around the mini fire pit, sitting with Molly in the middle as they began to try and get the low-down from her while the boys whisked Callum off to the main fire pit.
"So why did you guys break up?" Kaz asked, saying what all the girls were thinking.
"It was... honestly, nothing bad happened," Molly started, the girls all listening intently. "We literally just agreed that we just weren't really getting on. It was very mutual, but, literally, like, two weeks after we broke up, he was just doing things that I thought was disrespectful." Belva hummed, resting her hand on her left knuckle. "And I thought 'you could have handled that a lot better'. And he apologised on the phone at the time. But then, I was getting sent videos, I was getting sent pictures," some of the girls gasped while Belva frowned in sympathy. "And i just thought, you know when... it's just embarrassing. It's just annoying. Like, 'just pull yourself together and have a bit of respect for, like..." she trailed off as the girls began to understand what she was saying.
Belva started playing with her hair as she focused, having always found she listened better when she was doing something with her hands that didn't require much thinking.
B E A C H H U T: "I just feel bad for them, honestly" Belva said, smiling sadly as she thought about how awkward it must have been for the two. "Like, they both came here, trying to move on, and, like now, they're living together, again, and that's obviously gonna make it difficult for both of them to move on"
"Considering, right," Georgia H started, "You didn't actually beak up on bad terms, no one cheated or anything, nothing really bad happened, surely there's some chance you can?"
"Yeah," Molly replied "I don't know, I feel like, actions speak louder than words. He's gonna have to..."
"Graft hard?" Belva supplied.
"Yeah. How do you go from breaking up with someone after three-and-a-half years, to living with them?" Molly asked.
"Well, if you ever need to vent," Belva started, nudging her knee against Molly's lightly, "we're here for you." The girls all backed her up, making the blonde girl smile thankfully.
