Hidden Devil

" huh? What do you mean ?? Who deserve better life ??"

" It's nothing! We should get going now !"

He didn't realise that he was saying things he shouldn't be saying as he was too immersed in his memory, to stop Taehyung from his further trail of questions he swiftly took his hand and  started walking towards their house.

Seeing him all quiet Taehyung understood that he don't want to answer those questions,even though they are always together he still don't know much about the mysterious companion residing in his house, he is amused at himself how he is getting close with him and how he find the other cute today , he knows the other might be dangerous but he isn't afraid of him which he should be for his own good ,

but for some reason Taehyung feels empathetic towards him when he looks at his dark eyes as if they have millions of stories to convey,

"  he looks strong yet I feel pity and sympathetic towards him looking at his back he looks so lonely, even though his eyes are dark I just want to look at them...is it a part of his magic ?? The thing he said today about the soul will my parents soul would be in that place too where they died?? Will I be able to meet them if I go there??... Should I ask him about it ?"

" What are you thinking about?"

The devil asked suddenly when he noticed the tense look on Taehyung's face,

" N-nothing!! I was just thinking about my university exams and stuff ! That's it!"

He lied not wanting to share the exact reason even though the devil knew Taehyung was lying he didn't force him to tell the truth he understands their boundaries they aren't close enough to share things if their are something he can't tell him he can't expect to get answers for everything from other,

He still have long way to go but the problem is a very short time left  in his hand ,

" I'll tell him everything later we have so much time left"

" I can't tell him anything now we barely have time left..... I have to break the curse first "

They both thought to themselves and started walking forward.

Upon arriving at their home, Taehyung diligently stored away the groceries. Like clockwork, the devil residing with him conjured up meals effortlessly through magic, a sight that never failed to astonish Taehyung. Since his arrival, Taehyung found himself enjoying three hearty meals a day, a simple luxury he deeply appreciated.

He was eating silently and the devil was just watching him ,when something came in Taehyung's mind,

" Don't you feel hungry?? What type of food you eat ?"

Taehyung asked looking up at him , The sudden question took him off-guard a small smile crept on jungkook's face and then he took a spoon and filled it with the soup and kept in his mouth which shocked Taehyung,

"Huh?"

" I can eat food too since I'm in my human form but I don't feel hungry I just don't feel like eating watching you eat make me feel satisfied!.... And ghost don't feel hungry they don't have these humanly feelings but yeah their are some evil ghost who do feed on human !"

He said to which Taehyung almost choked on his food he looked at the devil terrified seeing his reaction the devil let out a creepy smile ,

" What! Do you think I will eat you!?"

He said as his eyes turned red and a creepy smile decorated  his face to which Taehyung just froze on his place sweats started forming in his head seeing his reaction the devil got concerned,
