I have not been able to sleep for the past few days. Violent dreams swarm my head whenever I close my eyes. I worry that I do not know who I am. Good is as good does. I have done things that are... Unforgivable... And now... now I will never be the same.

I am walking through the castle on my first day back to Hogwarts after Christmas break when I see greasy blond hair struting before me. I grab his wrist and pull him into an alcove with my wand to his neck. I put my hand over his mouth. He screams like a girl.

I release his mouth as he calms down but push the tip of my wand further into the side of his neck.

'If you squeal one whisper about me to your mother or mine, I will make it the last thing your mouth ever says do you understand me, Draco? '

He looks straight into my eyes. He is trying to act tough, but I know he is scared.

'You think you are the big man in this school only because I allow it. You are weak, Draco. If you touch Hermione, I will hurt you in ways you couldn't dream of. If you speak a word to our family... I will kill you.'

He gulps. He still doesn't say a word. I release him, and he dusts off his chest. He simply nods and leaves.

I stay there for a moment to collect myself when I am embraced by someone.

'Luna', I smile.

'Y/N, Happy New Year. Here' She says, and she sprays me several times with a curious-smelling perfume.

'for the Billywigs.'

She smiles and skips away.

I laugh. 'Thank you, Luna!' I call after her.

There she is. As I walk into the common room. My girl. She Is beautiful. The light of the burning fire makes her eyes glow. She's engrossed in a book.

I cough loudly.

'Y/N!!' She smiles, but this smile quickly turns into a scowl. 'Y/N.' she says angrily, and she slams her book closed. She stands and walks towards me. 'You haven't written to me in WEEKS.', she yells, slamming the book into my chest.

'Hey. Mione, I couldn't. I was being too risky before... things are... different now.'

'What do you-'

'Harry', I say, cutting Hermione off. Harry Just walked down into the common room from his dorm. He stares at me.

'Did you get my letters?' I ask shyly.

He shrugs awkwardly.

'I wanted to respond, I just... didn't know what to say.' He hasn't broken eye contact with me this whole time.

That response was a lot better than I thought it would be.

'I'll stay as far away from you as you wish, Harry.' I could barely finish my sentence when he was over and hugging me.

'I know how it feels to not feel at home. I should have written back.' He says to me, and I almost feel myself tear up.

When he lets go of me Hermione is smiling.

'Oh, go on then.' She smirks before hugging me and she doesn't pull away before kissing me softly. Oh, I have missed her.

We intertwine our hands as we release each other.

'Dinner?' Harry suggests, and we follow him down to the Great Hall.

'How is Ron?' I ask awkwardly.
