Michael carefully and quietly lifted the phone from its place on the wall. Glancing around warily, he began to type Henry's number with shaky hands. Once he did, he put the phone to his ear and waited as it rang.

Henry quickly rushed to the phone, fearing that it may be Michael on the other line~ "This is Henry Emily, who am I speaking to?"

"U-um..." Michael whispered, his voice quavering. "I...I think I need help."

Henry's breath hitched, his fears having been correct. "I'm...I'm on my way Michael, just...just hold tight, alright? I'm going to need you to hide somewhere for the time being." Henry's voice wavered. "I'll be there in less than five minutes, I promise."

"Okay." Michael's voice grew even softer. "Th-thank you."

"Of course, Mikey. I'm going to go now, stay safe." Henry set down the phone, quickly grabbing a jacket and his keys. He quickly got in the car and started it. He couldn't care less if he was passing the speed limit as he raced to the Afton household.

Michael shut himself in the living room closet, moving behind the row of coats. He then sank to the floor and huddled in the corner where he waited, trembling and hugging himself tightly.

Henry tapped the steering wheel anxiously as he neared his destination. The drive had felt like it was taking hours. When he finally arrived, he quickly got out and slammed the car door shut.

William sat in his office, drumming his fingers angrily on his desk. He startled as he caught the sound of what he thought was a car door. Turning around in his chair, he waited and hoped no one had actually arrived.

Henry walked up the driveway and to the front door, where he roughly knocked on the door. He had debated just walking in but decided that not going to jail today was a better idea.

With a small sigh, William left the office and answered the front door. As soon as he opened it, he sent Henry a forced smile. "Ah, Henry. Wasn't expecting to see you here. I'm a bit busy at the moment, though, and would prefer not to have visitors."

Henry put on a forced smile as well. "Ah, well. I won't be here for long." His voice was strained, the urge to shove past William and quickly get Michael out of there was growing significantly.

"I see." William crossed his arms. "What is it you came for then?"

Henry's eye twitched; his annoyance grew. "Is there really a problem with me coming to visit Michael, William?"

William heaved a sigh. "There is, actually. He's grounded and may not receive visitors." He tilted his head. "Your interest in my son lately is beginning to grate on my nerves, but...no matter. Is that all you came for?"
