Aminity smiled as she saw Archie step off of the bus in his army uniform.
"Welcome back to Riverdale," she called and he turned, seeing her standing by Sweet Pea's truck.
"Aminity," he smiled, rushing over and giving her a hug.
"It's been a long time."
"Too long," he chuckled, pulling back. "How are you?"
"I'm good," she smiled. "You?"
"Uh... Getting back on my feet."
She nodded. "I'm glad you're back."
"Me too."
"Hop in. There's no better welcome to our fair town than a milkshake at Pop's." He chuckled, throwing his bags in the back and getting in the truck. They caught up a little as she drove, pulling into a parking space at Pop's.
"A lot of bikes outside," he noticed as he closed the truck door.
"A few things have changed while you've been gone," she said, leading him inside. Archie froze as he walked inside, everything seeming the same but different.
"Something wrong, soldier boy?" Tabatha asked as she spied him.
"Uh, no, no. Everything's fine."
"Well if you're hungry, grab a stool. Coffee's fresh." Archie kept looking around, seeing most of the patrons wearing Southside Serpent jackets.
"He's with me, Tabatha. But we'll take two burgers downstairs."
"You got it, Aminity."
"Come on, Archie." She led him downstairs and his eyes widened as he took in La Bonne Nuit that had been transformed into the Whyte Wyrm. Toni, Fangs, and Sweet Pea were on stage performing and a smile spread across Archie's lips.
"Hey, Kev," Aminity smiled as they slid in the booth with him.
"Hey. Archie, good to see you."
"You too, Kev."
"Archie!" Toni smiled as she and the boys walked over.
"Damn, Toni, it's good to see you," he said, getting up and giving her a hug which was slightly interrupted by her swollen stomach.
"Yeah, you too." They all took a seat, Sweet Pea's arm going over Aminity's shoulders. She leant up and gave him a quick kiss as Tabatha brought them the burgers and some extra food and drinks. "You're all grown up," Toni said as she looked over Archie's uniform.
"Well, I don't know about that. But you. You're, uh-"
"Pregnant. Yeah, I am."
"Still a badass though." They all chuckled. "Who's the dad? Can I ask?"
"You can, but I'm not gonna answer you. It's... It's a secret." Archie raised his eyebrow and looked at Aminity.
"Sorry, Arch. Girl code. My lips are sealed."
"At least for now," Toni continued. "But I'm glad to see you're back in one piece."
"Yeah, yeah. No, I'm good. So who owns this place now?"
"Did you not pay attention to any of the letters I sent you?" Aminity teased. "Veronica gave me La Bonne Nuit when she graduated and a couple years ago we turned it into this."
