In dark bull-cap, navy blue jacket and blue tinted sunglasses, Yui was catching her breath as she blended among the crowds entering Maravilla's metrodome that morning. Sumabay siya sa agos ng mga tao papasok. Her eyes are pinned on the stage hoping to have a glimpse of Dash.

She's been travelling non-stop for two days from America. Sa pagitan ng mga biyahe lang siya natutulog.

When she arrived earlier in Maravillas, she planned to at least have a day's rest at the mansion before talking to Dash. She immediately charged her drained phone to inform her brother that she's back only to find out that she was bombarded with hundreds of messages from Prima, her manager and her brother.

But what struck her the most was Chrome's last message.

Dash is planning on leaving politics and...

Kinagat ni Yui ang labi para pigilan ang sariling huwag mapahikbi nang hindi makita si Dash sa hilera ng mga konsehal sa taas ng entablado. 'Where are you, Dashiel!?'

... follow her in America just to be with her.

As his proof of his love, Dashiel Gaius will leave the very thing that he loves to do – public service.

Agad niyang tinahak ang backstage para hanapin ito.

Hindi mahabol-habol ni Monika si Chrome nang bigla tumayo ang binata kanina at umalis papasok ng backstage. "Chrome, ano bang nangyayari?" Umatras ang babae nang huminto ang nobyo para sumilip sa mga dressing room roon.

"I need to talk to Dash, Monika." He kept opening room after room.

Lumabi ito sabay huminto sa pagsunod sa kaniya. "Cromwell Joshua!"

Nanigas ang binata at nilingon ito. It's his first time hearing her shout. Namumula ito sa inis. Kanina pa pala ito nagtitimpi sa pagbabalewala niya. "I'm sorry." Pumikit muna nang mariin si Chrome para ikalma ang sarili. "Yui...just resigned from her work."

Natigagal ito. "Si Yui?!"

Nasapo niya ang noo. "And damn! Dashiel is also planning to step down from politics!" Napailing siya sabay nameywang. "Why can't those two just sit down and fucking talk?!"

Mabilis na nagbukas ng mga kwarto si Monika para sumilip sa loob. "Tulungan na kitang hanapin si Mayor."

Chrome smiled despite his frustration. "Oh, I love you, Monika."

Sa kabilang banda nama'y si Yui na panay talon at takbo para makita man lang ang anino ni Dash sa maraming tao. She's been asking people where the Mayor is and they kept pointing at different direction.

Some says he's at the banquet hall.

Other says he's at the dressing room.

'What the hell is he thinking!' Lumilingon siya sa paligid. 'Maravillas has been so precious to you! Bakit mo ipagpapalit ang masaya mong buhay para sa akin?' Hindi niya namamalayan na umiiyak na pala siyang tumatakbo. 'I'm not worth it, Dash. All I ever did is wrong you!'

Suddenly, his baritone voice filled the whole stadium. "We are all gathered here today to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of Maravillas."

Agad siyang napapreno. 'Dash!' He's at the stage! Mabilis siyang lumiko papunta sa entrada ng stage nang may humarang sa kaniya na security staff.
