After Mahi bhai successfully dragged team out of the hospital as meeting time has ended long back and Nurses were constantly pestering them to leave. Virat has dozed off under medicine-effect when he woke up he found Anushka into a pile of files.

"Ary tu? Yahan? Abhi? Iss waqt? Aise" Virat said trying to sound surprised and Anushka looked at him stunned.

"Koi insan neend se jagte hi itni bakwas kaise karsakta hai" Anushka said.

"Tu or Ro exception hain isme baqi aam insan aise hi hote hain" Virat said and Anushka rolled her eyes.

After a minute or two, Virat throws a cushion at Anushka.

"Kya hai tujhe" Anushka asked irritated.

"Me bore horaha hoon" Virat replied.

"Boliye what can I do to entertain you sir" Anushka said courteously closing her files and Virat smiled happily.

"DIscharge kab hoga kya lagta hai" Virat asked her again.

"Umm within a week hojaega" Anushka said sitting at a chair beside his bed and he just hummed.

"Ye Rish ki bhabhi kabse hogaye tu" Virat asked and Anushka freezes for a second.

"Umm I don't know usne mujhe bhabhi bola and then usne itna innocently poocha apko koi problem to nahi hai na ke me mana kar hi nahi paye. Waise bhi it doesn't sounds so cliche from him" Anushka said truthfully.

"Tu na usko sar pe mat chadha. He's such a menace" Virat said.

"Oh shut up. He's better than you all. Kitna maturely handle kar raha hai wo sab kuch especially team ko" Anushka instantly defended.

"Han ye to hai lekin team ko kya hoa" Virat asked.

"Han mujhe tumse ye baat bhi karni thi. Vi sach batao tumhare dimagh me kya chal raha hai team ko leke" Anushka asked.

"Umm team ko leke kya matlab" Virat was taken aback by this question.

"Oh don't act oblivious Vi. Tum kya samajhte ho koi note nahi kar raha how you are behaving differently with them" Anushka pointed.

"Me... me jan boojh kar kuch nahi kar raha nushkie but tumhe to pata hai na it's not easy for me like you know right?" Virat said slowly.

"I know Vi and I understand even team also understands. Or pata hai this is what scares me. They all are giving their all like they spent all their time with you. They are hardly getting any sleep or spending time with family. They have made you their top priority keeping their own feelings aside despite not getting mutual response they are still hopeful. Agar ye hope tooti to it won't be easy for them to get over it" Anushka said and Virat sighed.

"Mutual efforts nahi hain like Nushkie am trying my best" Virat defended.

"Han baba I know you are doing it and I am not blaming you as well. But wo subconsciously tumhare behavior me dikh raha hai. Sometimes your best is not sufficient na you have to push your limits sometimes" Anushka tried explaining him.

"Tumhe team ne kuch kaha nahi tumhe to nahi bola hoga Rish ko kuch bola kya" Virat asked.

"Nah kuch bola to nahi but tumne kabhi Rohit, Jadeja and Bhuvneshwar in sabke expressions dekhe hain when you are having a conversation with me they look so hurt. And Kids like Chahal, Kuldeep and Jasprit looks like they'll cry or smash Rishabh's head. They miss you as how you had been because you guys have lost that normalcy in your relation. Ghalti kisi ki bhi thi but we should try to lessen that distance." Anushka explained and he hummed.
