50. The Queen

When Taeyeon arrived at Hee-chul’s house, Hee-chul was waiting for her at the gate. When Taeyeon got out of the car, Siwon happened to come out of the house too.

When he saw Taeyeon, he gave her a faint smile. Then he walked over with his long legs, took the suitcase from the driver.

“Welcome home,” he said.

Taeyeon smiled. “Thank you. I just came to stay for a short while. I’ll leave when my mother gets better.”

Siwon raised his eyebrows. “Whatever you want.”

He had studied his mother’s illness. Lin Ru was his mother who gave birth to him and raised him, so he was surely concerned about her.

As soon as his mother had the accident, he had studied all the data on paralysis and brain damage and knew that it was near impossible for her to be cured.

Even if she could, it would take at least several years, during which sister would live with them.

Taeyeon called Hee-chul ‘Dad’, and Hee-chul responded happily and asked her, “Is there any other luggage?”

Taeyeon smiled. “No, I won’t be here for long, so I didn’t bring a lot of things with me. I just brought with me some changes of clothes.”

Siwon raised his eyebrows, handed the suitcase to a servant and said to Taeyeon,

“Your room has already been prepared. Go up and have a look. If you are not satisfied, we’ll arrange another room for you. And… if you need anything, I’ll accompany you to buy it later.”

Hearing Siwon was going to go shopping with Taeyeon, the servants were all surprised and looked at Siwon in shock.

Though Young Master treated Miss Jun-ah very nicely, he never went shopping with her.

However, when he heard his real sister was coming back, he went home from his company at noon, which was really rare, and now he was even going to go shopping with Miss!

Did it mean Miss Jung Erika held greater importance than Miss Jung Jun-ah in Young Master’s heart?

Taeyeon surely saw the shocked and surprised look on the servants’ faces. She smiled and looked up at Siwon.

“Brother, you don’t have to work?”

Siwon felt so glad when he heard Taeyeonao Rou called him ‘Brother’. It sounded much better than ‘Cousin’. In a good mood, Siwon talked a bit more than usual and took Taeyeon upstairs to her room in person, saying,

“No, I don’t have work today. I’m always available for you.”

The corner of Taeyeon’s eyes twitched.

Why didn’t she find that Siwon was honey-lipped before! If she were an innocent little girl, she would have been charmed by his sweet words!

Taeyeon shrugged casually, saying,

“Brother, Thank you. I really need to go to the mall to buy some daily necessities. By the way, after I finish shopping, I’ll go to the Hwang's International Group to find my third brother. So if you’re going to send me to go shopping with you, can you send me to Jing’s company after that?”

Siwon’s steps obviously stopped for a moment. It had been quite a while before he shook his head in agreement.

“Sure, no problem. Would you like to see your room first?”

The two siblings had been talking and Hee-chul couldn’t get a single word into the conversation, so he went directly to see Lin Ru.

Already standing on the stairs, Taeyeon couldn’t go back, so she nodded and said,
