OLIVER WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION, to the game at all. He promised Annabeth he'd look after Percy but well...he kinda just left him in front of a log.

Why?

He had to do very, very important things.

"I mean-It's kind of obvious you and Annabeth are made for each other" The son of Aphrodite started, shrugging as he kept walking around the woods. "You know-Chiron said one day she would get a quest because the chosen one arrived. You're the chosen one. You take her on the quest and boom. She falls for you."

Yup, the important thing was doing what Annabeth said he couldn't do again. Finding Cooper and just chatting with him.

"I don't think that's how it-"

"I mean if Chiron's not talking about you, who could he be talking about? You're the only child of the big three still standing. One got turned into a pine three and- You know who doesn't have kids. So it's kinda impossible that it's not about you."

"If it was about me then I would've gotten the quest when I got claimed. It's been 3 years since that." Oliver replied. "And why would Chiron give the quest to me of all people? I understand that I'm a son of Poseidon but like-I can't even choose the right thing to do."

"What are you talking about? Of course you can!"

"I almost drowned your ex-girlfriend once." The younger boy answered, shrugging as he looked at his sword again.

"She almost choked you and you were angry. It's a normal-well not exactly a normal reaction but you know what I'm saying, right?" Cooper stared at Oliver, hoping to have said the right thing "You know- To get your anger out you could just...get a punching bag or have a screaming pillow" He suggested, still walking around the woods. He was supposed to fight Oliver, since they were on two different teams. But let's be honest now: They couldn't care less about this game.

"A what?" The shorter boy asked dumbfounded, looking around just in case to have to pretend to fight Cooper if someone from the blue team saw them.

"Screaming pillow. You grab a pillow and you-" A scream cut him off.

"Seems like that person needs a screaming pillow." Oliver chuckled, looking in the direction where the scream was heard. But his playful look changed once he saw his friend's eyes concerned.

"Clarisse..." He mumbled.

"Clarisse?" The son of Poseidon asked, confused. "What are you tal-" Cooper suddenly started running as fast as he possibly could towards the direction he heard the scream come from. "And now he's running. Great." He mumbled. "Hey! Just know that I'm not gonna run after you! I'm walking!" He called after Cooper.

Oliver sighed and started walking after him. Why was Cooper so concerned about her? They broke up three months ago. Maybe he still hasn't moved on? And anyway, what could've possibly happened? The worst thing to her was probably losing the game, which wasn't even that big of a deal.
