Tin Medthanan groaned as he was abruptly woken up by the sound of little feet pitter-pattering and a high-pitched voice squealing with excitement. "Daddy! Wake up! Daddy!"

"Un...I'm awake..." He let out a grunt as he opened his eye, greeted by the sight of his bright sunshine, his beloved son, Tee. The boy was the epitome of all that was wonderful in his life. He reached out, grabbing one of Tee's chunky legs and pulling him down, eliciting joyful squeals from the boy. Rising to his knees, he began tickling Tee's armpits, reveling in the sound of his infectious laughter. Tee squirmed and giggled on the bed, his laughter filling the room like music. Tin couldn't help but join in the laughter until Tee grunted and pushed him away, gasping for breath.

"I gotta pee!"

"Then go! Go pee!" Tin couldn't help but chuckle as his son dashed out of the room towards the bathroom. Slowly, he rose to his feet and made his way over to the chest of drawers at the end of his bed. His gaze fell upon the picture of his late wife, a bittersweet reminder of the love they had shared. Their marriage may not have been a fairytale romance, but it had been filled with happiness. The pain of her loss still lingered in his heart. However, Tee, their precious child, had been his beacon of light, bringing a smile to his face even on the darkest days. With a silent greeting to the photograph, Tin slipped into a vest and then a shirt, before selecting a pair of charcoal slacks.

"Daddy, I peed!" Tee announced and Tin gave a chuckle that was drowned out by the flushing of the toilet and the knocking on a door.

With a frown, he glanced at his watch and realized that it was the moment his assistant should be arriving. A slight, bothersome flutter stirred in his heart as he pondered about his assistant, Can Kirakorn. Can had joined his team three months back, filling in the position left vacant by his previous assistant who had chosen to embark on the journey of marriage and parenthood.

"P'Can's here!" Tee cried excitedly running to the door his excitement having to stand on his tiptoes to reach the handle. "P'Can!"

"Hey, Tee! Have you been fighting with Mook again?" Can entered the room with a playful chuckle, swiftly scooping up the boy in his arms and embracing him tightly, causing Tee to burst into a fit of giggles. Can not only excelled at being a wonderful father, but he also effortlessly managed his own life with utmost efficiency. Tin couldn't help but be completely smitten with Can, even though he understood that their love was unattainable. Can's beauty was undeniable, with his slightly shorter stature, slender frame, and delicate, fair complexion, which gave him an air of vulnerability that contrasted with his true strength.

"No! I wasn'ta fighting Mook! P'Can!"

"Of course not..." Can chuckled as he walked deeper into the room, gently placing him back on the floor. He then picked up his personal communications device and began scrolling through it. "Good morning, Mr. Medthanan," he said with a smile. "You've got three appointments lined up for today, and there are a few phone calls you'll need to make..."
