Nightmares (Pt.2 Tordtom)

-3rd POV-

Tom woke up on the floor with an aching pain in his back. He must have fallen off the couch.

"Dammit" He whispered

He got up from the floor and turned to look at the couch, Tord was still asleep. Tom walked closer and lightly shook him.

"Cmon Tord get up.." Tom said softly

Tord groaned and sat up, looking up at Tom, who had his arms loosely crossed.

"Edd and Matt are still at the park. Since they are not here, we have to make dinner." Tom said, trying to pull Tord upwards.

"Alright,alright.. I'm up." Tord chuckled and lifted himself up, heading towards the kitchen with Tom on his heels. 

"So.. what are we gonna make?" Tord asked, leaning against the kitchen counter.

Tom shrugged, pulling open the fridge and looking inside.

" What about spaghetti and meatballs?" Tord grinned

"Sure."

-Time skip-

Tord and Tom sat at the kitchen table, plates of pasta in front of them. As they ate, they talked about funny incidents that happened between the four over the past week.

"Remember when Matt shook Edd's cola can and it exploded in Edd's face?" Tom laughed

Tord nodded and smiled.

Once they had finished their dinner, they put their dishes in the sink and started preparing the snacks for the movie.

"Okay. So we made popcorn,bacon, ice cream.. and Smirnoff!" Tom counted

"I need to call Edd, they should have been home already." Tord said as he took his phone out of his pocket and dialed Edd's number.

Tord walked out of the room and went on chatting to Edd, Tom on the other hand sat by the window watching rain droplets form, as he waited for Tord to finish. Tord has always been a one to talk.

After Tord hung up, he walked back to the living room, where he found Tom starting into the sky as it deepened color, turning into a dark grey.

Tom turned back around to look at Tord.

"So?" Tom asked

"Edd and Matt are on their way, they had found some high school friends and wanted to catch up." Tord said, setting his phone down on the coffee table and went over to stand next to Tom.

Tom's eyebrow furrowed slightly.

Tord noticed this and reassured Tom that they would be back on time, being in a couple minutes.

"Okay.." Tom said slightly concerned.

Tord pulled Tom's waist softly, pulling him into a hug and patted his head softly.

"Don't worry, they are capable of taking care of themselves." Tord said comfortingly, running his fingers through Tom's soft, brown hair.

Tom nodded and turned to Tord, hugging him back, taking in his scent. Tord smelled of smoke, caramel and light cologne. Tom found this scent comforting and soothed him, relaxing against Tord's chest. 

He looked back up at Tord and softly kissed him on the lips, which Tord returned. It was a short but wonderful kiss. Tom pulled away and looked back up at Tord, then smiled in which Tord returned, softly pulling Tom closer to him and caressing his head.

The front door clicked and swung open, revealing two men soaked in water.

"Hey guys! How was it? Did ya'll do anythi-" Edd stopped talking when he spotted Tom peacefully resting against Tord, who was softly caressing his head. 

Edd snickered and whispered to Matt "Let's give them a second."

-Time skip-

Edd and Matt came back a few minutes later with blankets and pillows.

"Hey Tom! Did you get the snacks?" Edd asked Tom, who was seated at the couch leaning against Tord.

"Mhm" Tom said, pointing to the kitchen counter.

"Okay great! Let's begin!" Edd grinned

He flipped off the lights after he had gotten the snacks from the kitchen. He then set the food  down on the coffee table and sat down next to Matt, who was bundled in a blanket. 

"So what are we going to watch?" Matt asked, holding the remote.

"How about The Exorcist?" Tom grinned

Edd came in eye contact with Tom, glared at him, then slightly tipped his head towards Matt,signaling it would be too scary for him.

"Actually, how about Jaws instead?" Edd insisted

Tom huffed and agreed.

-

Around halfway through the movie, Edd and Matt were both squeezing pillows for comfort. On the other hand, Tord and Tom were sharing a blanket that went over their shoulders, Tom leaning closer to the screen during suspenseful moments.

"AH!" Matt screamed as the shark teared someone to shreds and treated their body like a chew toy.

Tom was surprised, Edd was telling Matt it was okay, and Tord was just watching the movie. Tom leaned back down to sink into the couch, taking Tord's hand in his and interlocking their fingers. They both smiled and Tom leaned against Tord's chest. Finishing the movie in each other's comfort.
