Enemies to Lovers (Tordtom, Pt.2)

-3rd POV-

Tom's phone fell on his face as he laid on his bed.

"Ow.." He groaned

He picked up his phone from his face and checked the time, it showed 12:00am.

"Damn it, I hate school." He grumbled as he set his phone on his nightstand and turned back over, attempting to fall asleep.

Thoughts rushed through his mind about Angela. Does she still like me? Or this fucking new guy. What's so great about him anyway? Why did it feel so wrong giving her the money. He thought to himself. 

Soon enough, he drifted off to sleep.

-Time skip-

"I still don't trust her." Edd said, narrowing his eyes as he rode on his skateboard.

"It's fine Edd, she- y'know what whatever." Tom finished

"Well, if anything happens you know you can always rely on us!" Matt said cheerfully, looking at his mirror.

"Matt. I don't think it's the smartest idea to stare into a mirror and skateboard at the same time. You might crash and get scratches on your face." Edd raised an eyebrow

"OH NO! NOT THE FACE!" Matt screamed as he threw his mirror.

Edd burst out laughing and Tom grinned

"Aw man, that was my favorite." Matt frowned

"It's okay Matt, we can always get more." Tom said, still grinning.

Matt nodded as they reached the school gate.

Tom almost fell off his skateboard as he saw a scene unfold in front of him.

Right at the school gate, Angela was seen kissing Nathaniel on the lips and clinging to his chest. Tom felt mixed emotions right away. Anger, s adness, and fury.

Without thinking he immediately walked over to the two.

"Got some real nerve,huh?" Tom poked his finger harshly into Nathaniel's chest. Angela's eyes widened. 

She was about to say something but Tom cut her off, he wasn't about to hear her sob story.

"Fucking save it Angela, I should have known. Take your damn "love necklace" and give it to your new boyfriend." Tom said bitterly as he ripped off the necklace she gave him. 

She looked at his with regret, then anger.

"Y'KNOW WHAT TOM?! I ONLY LOVED YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR MONEY! You mean nothing to me!" She said, forcing a laugh.

"Oh sure. What about all those times when you begged me to stay over? Repeating "I love you" over and over? Oh, now I see. You just are a gold digger bitch who plays people till she gets bored." Tom barked back, now having everyone's attention.

He stomped off, leaving them both dumbstruck. As he walked off, he whipped his phone from his backpack and immediately blocked, deleted, and unfollwed her. 

"Good riddance." He whispered to himself as he angrily walked to his first class. 

-Time skip: Lunch-

Tom left his 5th period and made his way to the lunch room, where Edd and Matt were already waiting.

He was walking down the hallway and was abruptly stopped by Tord, grinning ear to ear.

"Missed me?" Tord said, raising his fists up.

"Not today Tord." Tom mumbled as he walked off.

Tord raised an eyebrow and turned around to Tom.

"Did something happen?" Tord asked

"My girlfriend dumped me for the new guy, Nathaniel. But why do you care?" Tom said before walking away.

Tord tightened his fist and walked away.

Tom continued to walk to the lunch room, giving a cold glare to Angela before taking his place at his friends table.

"Hey you okay.. with what happened?" Edd said softly

Tom didn't answer but slightly shook his head no.

Edd and Matt frowned, pulling Tom into a hug.

"Don't worry, you're strong. You'll get through this!" Edd said hopefully

"Like how I've been surviving without my mirror!" Matt said proudly,  which made Tom crack a smile.

"See? You don't need her. You'll be alright." Edd said reassuringly.

BRINGGGGGGGGGGGGG

"Aw man, there's the bell." Matt frowned

"We'll see you later Tom!" Edd said, getting up and waving goodbye, running off to their next classes.

Tom sighed, grateful for his friends.

He got up and walked through the hallway, to his next class.

-Time skip: last period-

Tom groaned internally as he dragged himself to last period, he was so NOT looking forward to this.

As he entered the room, as expected Angela and Nathaniel were sitting together, chatting away. Angela giggling and Nathaniel smirked.

(Sorry this part is kinda cringy 😭)

"Hey, look who it is! The boy who got dumped." Nathaniel laughed out loud to Angela.

Tom sighed angrily but grateful no one was listening.

"Shut the fuck up, you know you are just a hopeless little man without her." Tom said coldly, putting his earbuds in his ears and turning on his music.

-Time skip-

BRINGGGGGGGGGGG 

Tom hastily got up and left the room, making his way to the bathroom.

After around 10 minutes of being in the bathroom, Tom started hearing yelling and cheering. He raised an eyebrow and left the bathroom, going out into the hall. His eyes widened.

Tord was holding Nathaniel by his shirt collar, throwing punch after punch to his face. Edd and Matt were in the crowd, a worried expression on their face. Angela was being held back by two boys.

Tord dropped Nathaniel to the floor after he messed up his face enough, leaving him with a bloody nose and several bruises.

"Only I can be rude to Tom." Tord spat, this surprised Tom.

He walked over to Angela and slapped her hard across the face, leaving a red mark.

"The same goes for you, don't ever talk to him like that." He said coldly as he walked out of the crowd.

He caught Tom's eye as he walked out and smiled, making Tom blush. Tord smirked at Tom's reaction but kept walking.

Wait. NO! Why am I blushing?  Tom thought as he watched Tord walk away.

Tom couldn't help but smile.
