He finally backs away. "I mean it. Everything I say."

"I know. I do too."

(Jihan's POV)

Jungwon and I haven't exactly talked about what happened between us, since that night. We kind of moved on like it didn't happen which makes me confused, but I don't know what to say either.

"Jihan?" Jungwon asks bringing me back into my senses. I blink rapidly then looked up. I mutter a quick 'oops' and gave my papers to Jay. We started presenting our ideas and I explain a few of my ideas and they all seem to like them.

"That's pretty clever," someone from Jay's marketing team agreed with my ideas. I thanked them while Jay agreed heavily.

After some discussion we finally came to a conclusion to use my idea but add elements of Jay's and Jungwon's idea.

We wrapped things up then picked up our things. Jungwon and I stayed silent which was slightly unusual, but yet again I didn't know what to say.

"Jungwon?"

We both turn around to see Jay's eyebrows raised and I'm sure he's wondering what's this weird tension in the air.

It was awkwardly quiet until Jay asked Jungwon if they could talk, "yeah... Jihan I already called the driver. I'll be down there after this, you can go first."

I shrugged and nodded awkwardly then continued my way down to the car. I'm not sure what they talked about but I wouldn't mind if Jungwon told him anyways. It's inevitable.

I waited in the car for a good ten minutes until he came out, speed walking to the car. He opens the car door with a slight pant.

"Sorry about that," he says getting in and placing his stuff by his feet. "No worries." Our driver says reassuring him. We drive off in silence with nothing but the radio playing.

Yet again our walk to our hotel room was quiet. "See you later Jungwon," I say before entering our rooms. "See you Jihan."

We haven't been taking our naps together like usual and it felt different. I guess it's because our relationship is different now, knowing our feelings.

We only had a week left until we had to go back to Korea and I really wanted to make the best of the United States with Jungwon.

I laid in the empty bed by myself wondering to myself. I didn't want to feel awkward like this but I also don't know how to move forward.

I open my phone to text Cynthia, 'Hey girl, wanna meet up and talk later?' Cynthia responded right away with an enthusiastic yes and sent me a restaurant address. We agreed on 7:30 PM since she wanted some time with Jay before we went.

I was getting ready until I heard a knock on my door. I go and open to see a Jungwon. "Want to go and grab-" he pauses mid-sentence.

"Are you going out?" He asks with genuine curiosity. "Yeah, I'm sorry. I should've told you. What were you gonna say earlier?"

"I was gonna ask if you wanted to grab dinner together. Who are you going with?"

I mentally groaned in my head since I missed my chance to hang with Jungwon today. I couldn't ditch Cynthia, I asked her to hang out.
